Amara’s Point of View

"The success will be ours!" Roman shouted.

The wine flowed freely that night.

In Dad’s private room, the fire burned bright, throwing shadows against the carved stone walls.

The three of us gathered close around the long oak table, the chest of false evidence resting like a crown jewel between us.

My father had locked it tight again, though we all knew what was inside, the dagger, the bloodied cloth, the letters. Our victory.

Logan raised his glass high, his smirk shining in the firelight.

“To Jake. May the traitor rot in chains forever," he said with a grin.

I lifted my own glass, brushing it against his.

“To our success!” I announced

Dad only nodded, drinking deeply. His eyes never left the fire.

The room buzzed with a heady mix of triumph and danger.

I leaned back in my chair, stretching my legs, savoring the warmth of winning.

“Did you see Aarhea’s face today? The way she clutched that letter? She believes it, Dad. She truly does.” I informed them, bef

  • Never Again!   Chapter 33: The Letter Part 2

The morning came,The council room was colder than I remembered. My stomach twisted as the guards dragged Jake inside. His wrists were bound in silver cuffs, his head lowered, his long dark hair covering half of his face.Even in chains, he carried himself with the strength of an Alpha, but the council only saw a prisoner.I wanted to run to him, to touch him, but I forced myself still. If I moved now, they’d call me weak. The High Councilor’s voice rang out.“Jake of Silver Fang Pack. You stand accused of treason, conspiring with rogues to bring ruin upon your people. Speak. Do you deny these charges?”Jake raised his head slowly. His eyes found mine first. For a heartbeat, the room disappeared. I saw pain in his gaze, but also a fire that had not gone out.“I deny them,” he said, his voice steady. “I have never betrayed my pack. Never.”Gasps filled the room.Logan stepped forward immediately, slamming the forged letters onto the table.“Then explain these!”He shoved one into Jake’

Aarhea’s Point of ViewThe council room was too quiet.Every breath, every shuffle of a chair felt loud in my ears.My heart pounded so hard I was afraid they would hear it.Amara stood across the room, her chin high, her smile sharp.Beside her, Logan leaned casually against the table, smirking as if he already won.Roman was calmer, silent, but his eyes kept scanning the room like a hawk.I felt all their eyes on me.Jake’s name was heavy in the air, though he wasn’t here. He was still locked away below, alone in the dark.Amara slammed a parchment onto the table.“These are the evidences we found. Plans. Letters. All in Jake’s hand. Proof he betrayed us.”Whispers broke out at once. Elders leaned forward, shocked.Roman added smoothly, “This one even details the night of the rogue attack. He worked with them.”I forced myself to step closer. My voice trembled, but I knew what I had to do.“I… I saw those letters too. They were in his room.”The whole chamber gasped. Some looked at me

Aarhea's Point of ViewLogan leaned against the carved wooden table, smirking as his eyes followed me across the room. Amara sat close to him, her fingers tapping impatiently, while Roman stood near the window, watching the moon.Logan broke the silence first.“So, Aarhea, how are you holding up? Still crying over your traitor?”I lowered my gaze, keeping my voice soft. “It’s not easy, but I can’t deny what I saw.”Amara smiled sharply. “That’s good. At least you’re seeing the truth now.”Roman turned slowly. “You must understand, Aarhea, Jake was dangerous from the start. His bloodline, his silence,he was never loyal.” he said.I clenched my fists under the table, forcing tears into my eyes. “I trusted him. I loved him. And yet,” I let my voice break, “he betrayed me!”Logan reached across the table, touching my hand. “Then let me be the one you can trust now.”Amara’s eyes narrowed. “Logan!”But Logan ignored her. His thumb traced slow circles against my skin. “I’ll never betray y

The Next Morning, Amara rushed to me, her face glowing with concern. “Aarhea, how are you? Did you sleep at all?”I gave her a hollow smile. “Barely. Every time I close my eyes, I see Jake’s lies.”She squeezed my hand tightly. “You’re strong. Don’t let him weaken you.”Logan approached, his eyes warm, his voice soft. “You look pale. You shouldn’t carry this pain alone.”I lowered my gaze, letting my voice tremble. “I don’t know how to carry it at all.”He stepped closer, brushing a strand of hair from my face. “Then let me carry it with you.”Amara shot him a sharp look, but he ignored it, his focus locked on me.I pulled away gently, forcing a fragile smile. “Thank you… Logan. But I need time. Please.”He nodded, his expression tender, though his eyes gleamed with something darker. “As long as you need. I’ll be here.”Amara linked her arm with mine quickly. “Come, Aarhea. Let’s walk. You don’t need to think about him anymore.”I let her guide me, but inside, my thoughts were sharpe

Aarhea’s Point of ViewI stood quietly, staring at the folded parchment I had just pulled from under Jake’s mattress. My hands trembled, though not from shock. I already knew what they had planted. Still, I had to play the part.I opened the letter slowly.“My dearest,Our meetings give me more joy than any bond ever could. Aarhea will never know. You are the one I truly desire.”I let the words trail in the air, my voice cracking as if my heart was breaking.Behind me, Amara gasped loudly. “Oh, Goddess… Aarhea… no…”Logan stepped closer, his face full of feigned concern. “What is that?”I crushed the letter in my fist, forcing tears into my eyes. “It’s...” My voice broke. “It’s from Jake. To… to another woman.”Amara placed a hand on my shoulder. “I’m so sorry. I told you something wasn’t right, but I never wanted it to be true.”Roman crossed his arms, his expression grim. “This is more than betrayal of the pack. This is betrayal of you, Aarhea. Of your heart.”I shook my head viole

  • Never Again!   Chapter 30 : The New Plan!

Amara's Point of View:Logan broke the silence first, his voice calm, smooth as always. “We’ve destroyed Jake’s reputation. But destroying his image isn’t enough. If he remains alive, there will always be questions. Always a chance someone doubts.”Dad lifted his gaze, eyes sharp. “You mean to kill him.”Logan tilted his head, smiling faintly. “Eventually. But not yet. First, Aarhea must condemn him herself. Without her, there will be cracks in the foundation of our plan.”I tapped my fingers on the table, thinking. “She’s stubborn. She still looks at him like he’s innocent, even if she pretends otherwise. She’ll resist.”Logan’s hand squeezed at my side. “Then we make her stop resisting.”Dad leaned forward, frowning. “How?”Logan’s eyes gleamed, bright and cunning. “We break her trust. We make her doubt not just his loyalty, but his love. If she believes Jake betrayed her heart, not just the pack, she’ll never forgive him. And once she speaks against him, it’s over.”A thrill of s
