The smile on Emile’s face lingered even after they reached back at the hotel. She sat in a daze as she watched Christopher busy himself with packing both his and her stuff while Night Wing went to complete the checkout procedures. While Emile was settling in blissfully, Daniel’s end was not so peaceful. Daniel was frustrated at narrowly missing Emile even though he went all the way to Mauritius.
