Aiden’s POV

The moment we walked into my house, Nova plopped onto the couch with a loud giggle, legs kicking in the air, and I couldn’t help but smile. The night hadn’t ended exactly how I imagined, barging in on Arnold and Eli wasn’t on the list—but honestly, it had been pretty perfect. Everyone laughed, everyone relaxed. That’s all I’d wanted.

I sat down beside her, catching her legs mid–wiggle and gently pressing them back down. “What are you so giggly about?” I asked, half amused, half curious.
