Chapter Forty-five

Quietly, Elena rose to her feet, walking towards the door carefully. She knew this was a once in a lifetime opportunity and she wasn't going to waste it. She didn't know if the guard had left the door on purpose but one thing she knew was that she would never sit here and not do anything. She needed to move, needed to be on top of everything that was happening. The words of the guard came back to her all of a sudden and that alone reinforced her to move and find her escape.

''I'm not wasting this.'' Elena vowed.

Carefully, she walked quietly towards the door, making sure that she didn't make even a single sound. She knew how attentive Andrea was and she wasn't going to take any chances in this escape. She got to the passageway first and looking around, she sighed in relief when she realized that the area was clear. That was the first road to freedom and she was happy that she had gotten to this level.
