Chapter 2.10 | The Last Meal

Igris was sitting in a restaurant wearing a crimson red robe with a dragon on the back that has a mermaid tail and rose thorns as scales. Beside him sat Algin with a smile on his face, strumming his fingers against the table.

In the different logging pavilions, the robes of each of the members of his clan took their old robes off and folded them neatly, placing them on the bed. Around them, the people were sleeping thanks to an enchantment.

They slipped on the crimson robes identical to Igris’s and Algin’s. A portal opened behind them once it sensed that they were complete with their tasks. Stepping into the portal, they looked back for one last time at the life they were leaving behind.

As the portal closed, everyone started waking up feeling hazy.

They took five steps, then another portal opened in front of them. Stepping out, they were in front of the restaurant, and they could sense that Igris and Algin were inside.

Prince Sidon looked at the others and smiled. “Well, let’s go in.
