Chapter 69:The Kiss

“Hey Radolf, I never imagined myself stooping this low to reply to your texts. You know what? You only have the present, not the future.

I assure you that whatever your confidence developed from, I, Annatoria Hawkins, will bring it down. I'll make sure you're nothing before everyone, just as you are before me.

I'm happy here, away from you and your malicious lifestyle. I've gotten the happiness you could never give, the care you never showed me, and guess what??

I'm better off than you. I'm bigger, stronger, and greater.

Oh no! Don't cry, save the tears for later. Say hi to my son. Tell him mama loves him.

Ah! Why do I keep forgetting to tell you that the Annatoria you knew is dead….long gone, loser!”

She sighed after typing her reply, as she massaged her knuckles.

“Let me see your reply," Asher smiled, trying to peek at what she'd typed.

Everywhere was silent for a moment, and when she was done, she pressed the “Send" button and exhaled sharply, leaning back.

“I said I'll go back to him," Annatoria teased.

“What? You didn't say that, did you?" Asher shouted, his eyes shot out.

“Calm down. You know me," She smiled again.

“Espresso or Latte?" He asked Annatoria, getting up from the chair. He was probably going to grab coffee.

“No. I've begun to love Americano," She responded, but soon, she gasped in surprise as she remembered she hadn't gone into her room since she arrived from the Hospital— Veterinary home.

“You know Americano is no more than sewage waste, right?" Asher scoffed playfully.

“How dare you?! Iced Americano is a new therapy for me."

“Why? I thought I used to be your therapy." There he went again! Asher Henderson—with his rizz.

Caught off guard, she couldn't help but stare at him with her slightly parted lips. Her heart flustered as he said those words, with her eyes locked on his.

“Alpha," Someone approached them.

"H..uh…I..I changed my therapy.”She tried to gather her words, but it was as hard as….

It was very hard to deny his smooth moves.

“You have a visitor, Alpha. "The male servant bowed deeply.

A visitor?

“Who?” She asked in disbelief.

“She says she's from The Red Moon Pack, Alpha,” He responded.

Red Moon Pack?

Annatoria's eyes shone as she heard the servant talk.

Annatoria headed out of the room, heading towards the place where they receive visitors.

Her heels hitting the ground sounded as though she was trying to break the floor beneath her.

As she slowly approached the meeting room— the room where the visitors were waiting- she was nervous. A feeling swept through her as her eyes shut, then opened again.

She entered the room with a smile.

***

THE NEXT DAY.

Annatoria sat on her couch, flipping the pages of the magazine in her hand.

She was back to feeling casual again…she loved feeling casual.

“What exactly did Alpha Barry of The Red Moon Pack think of me?” She scoffed again, her eyes rolling hard.

"It's normal. I made sure that all the New Members who were accepted were brought out to him. At least, he saw it,” Asher responded.

The Alpha and Luna of The Red Moon Pack had arrived at The Scarred Wolves Pack yesterday, seeking a certain child of their kingdom whom they needed to meet and make atonement, according to the voice of the goddess.

Annatoria was lost again as she stared at his fine, kissable lips. She was lost, staring at him.

Girl, just accept it!!! You like him and you're so head over heels for him..

Her eyes were blinded by his charm. What was it again? His beauty. .

Asher was one fine man, with a nice body structure that a woman can't resist.

“Asher….” She said, breaking the silence, grabbing his hand as she moved closer to him, covering the space between them.

If what she was about to do was called ‘fucking up’, she'd do it without a second thought.

She could feel his breath on her as her lips crashed into his..

Asher's eyes shone as he caught his breath while she pulled away. Without settling to ponder, he grabbed her head and kissed her lips.

This was the moment he'd waited for…all his life!

The moment he'd always wanted.

Asher!

Annatoria!

They'd both wanted this moment, and finally, they got it.

Asher asked his wolf, just as he and Annatoria pulled apart. They'd hugged for minutes. “I….L”He began but there was no need to keep talking when her phone rang. "What!’ She exclaimed happily after minutes of hearing the caller speak. It was from her hospital. “Moon is better now, Asher” She smiled, heading towards the outside of the house. "I'll take you in mine," Asher said with a playful bow. “You never want to be serious, do you?"She scoffed lightly. "Your palm,” She said, observing the bandage wrapped around his hand but, he hid his him and behind him."What happened to you?” " It's nothing, I'm fine” He smiled almost normally. "No. What happened?’ “I mishandled my Father's sword. It was a mistake" He lied to her. Annatoria took it, with a scoff. “How could you be so careless?”

Chapter 67: The Future Is Coming. “I order you to be mute!” He commanded furiously. His voice had already changed and he was sounding like the Beta he truly was. Katherine's eyes shone in shock as she heard his thunderous voice for the very first time. She was shocked that she shrunk in fear, forgetting she ever liked him. "Leave and never come back to fool yourself before me” He said in the same tone. It was casual yet, authority-filled. ***Manga stood before his mirror, examining every single feature of his face. He couldn't go out in broad daylight just to avoid being attacked. As a wolf, he was powerless and even as a human,

Chapter 66: I Love You. Finally! It's been 2 weeks since the whole commotion about Mario's death happened. Something wasn't clear to Radolf. How did they get his body?! He was killed outside the city but, how did his body reach his family at Russia? It was a question he couldn't ask Madam Elise. This matter gave Radolf many sleepless nights as he tried to believe his son's revelation but,“What if she really killed him? How could they have met?" He murmured as he stared into nothingness. His eyes gazed into the void as his fingers tapped the table rhythmically and then, he exhaled sharply as he tried to sit upright. "Alpha,”Nicholas said as soon as she walked into the room. Apparently, she'd taken over Candace's position and she was free to go into his room at anytime. She felt like the new boss lady of the house and hearing the other maids gossip about her, only made her happier. “Oh!" Radolf cleared his throat, his gaze not leaving the ground as she walked in. What's both

He forced a weak smile, masking the discomfort already building in his chest.“Come in, Alpha Garret,” Radolf said with a kind gesture, his voice slightly husky. Beta Garret avoided eye contact, pretending to focus on the floor tiles beneath his boots.“Oh, there’s no need for that,” came a voice that stopped him cold.It was her.Radolf looked up, and there she was—Mario’s mother, Elise Gonzalez. She stepped out of the sleek black car with an air of quiet command. **Chapter 64: The Sudden Appearance. Heartbroken, Radolf returned to his pack in Bavaria. What exactly was he supposed to say? That the Beta was torn apart??“You perceived the Sable Smoke, didn't you, Alpha?” Nyx asked as soon as she parked the car in front of the pack house. The Sable Smoke was the dark, and dangerous smell that followed witches and wizards around. They'd driven for hours in silence—the silence of longing to find out he didn't die. "I did. I have no idea how it all transpired." Radolf responded, getting out of the car. “H..how could a witch get access into that place?" Radolf stuttered. Heartbroken, Radolf walked through the grand hall of the pack house, the weight of his failure and grief pressing down on his shoulders—he’d failed as a husband, as an Alpha too. Every step felt heavy, like the loss of his Beta had drained the very strength from his body. What exactly was he going to say to the Elders? The scent of Sable Smoke still lingered in his nostrils,

Chapter 63: Voice Of The Unseen “I'm here to show my gratitude to the one who saved my life," Manga said, a trickery smile appearing on his lips. A disgusting look appeared on her face as she stared at Manga—despite being related to him, he annoyed her with how he behaved.“Gratitude, huh?" Asher scoffed but before he could process another sentence to leave his lips, Annatoria gently touched his hand—a signal to make him pause. “What else?" Annatoria asked. This time, no emotion was evident in her voice, she spoke as the Alpha she was. Manga stood, without a word escaping his lips as he watched Annatoria and Asher sitting on their throne-like chairs. What exactly was he there for?Something different……in the name of gratitude.“I know your mission and why you are here, so leave before I order you to," Annatoria instructed, her eye color turning brown. Asher had already suspected something about her emotions. Besides, he already knew about her eye colors and he'd always wished to

I wanted her to stop or maybe,go easy but I loved how she sucked me—how she worked on me. She trailed my chest to my torso with her tongue, sending an uncommon but thrilling sensation running through my skin. It was rare! I thought that was all she could give until she pushed me to the bed……That was it! Even if I had, it was nothing compared to what she was doing to me. My soul was feeling it. She climbed to my laps after pushing me to the bed. “Here's the main game," She smiled, as though she was high on something. Oh!! I didn't mind her audacity— Holy Selena! She was so good that I wanted her touch..I fucking wanted her. I helplessly watched her undress, leaving her bare before me.Oh wait! Chapter 61: A Replacement?? **Since the New Member Acceptance Program night ended, the pack hd settled down for it's normal activities. Everyone was now back to normal activities and mingling with the new members. It was a yearly thing for them already because they were definitely meeting new people. “Hi, Beta" A blonde-haired, average-height lady called from behind as soon as Axel waked past her. She was an Alpha wolf and she had gotten somehow close to Axel— forcing the connection, actually.“Um..Hi, um…" Axel stopped to respond but realized he'd forgotten her name so, he smiled awkwardly."Katherine. Tanner Katherine" She reminded him. “Oh! I forget things easily," Axel smiled.“Were you going somewhere?" She asked him, observing the file in his hands. “Technically, I was." “Great! Can I come with you?" She hastily asked, as if she'd been waiting for that moment.“Uh…”"Please, don't say no” She grabbed his hand, acting all ‘cute’."Alright,” Axel muttered after seconds of
