My eyes followed sternly as Katherine and Ricardo exchanged pleasantries. I had no idea who he was, but I already knew I wasn't going to like him.

"What are you doing here, any messages from Aiden?" Katherine inquired from Ricardo after they had finished getting familiar with each other.

"Not really a message, he has tasked me to help you out with some work. In his words, I'm to become your personal Assistant at home, and at work" Ricardo explained.

"She doesn't need assistance at home, I am more than capable of attending to her needs. We appreciate your offer, but we must humbly dec—"

"That's wonderful, when are you to start?" Katherine cut me off with her approval. She was clearly happy that this man was coming into our house, and she obviously had no regards to how I felt concerning the matter.
