I had no idea how exactly to ring it into my mother’s ears so that she would listen, but so far, it’s been almost an impossible thing for her to do.

Staying away from Katherine was not exactly a hard thing to do. I mean, if my mother was intentional about not causing trouble for me, she would have.

But it was obvious that she had made it a mission to frustrate Katherine which troubled me in so many ways.

I had just opened my eyes again after I had successfully made Katherine put me to sleep, and I was surprised that she was not in the room.
