Third POV

It was already two days since everything returned to normalcy, yet Vina was still troubled.

She was always on the tip of her toes, looking around as if someone was after her. She was literally losing her head with each passing minute.

Even though Carlos had made a promise not to report her, she was still scared that he would break his promise.

She feared for her life and each time she remembered how Damon had ended, she imagined herself following that same path.

With her head lifted up, she stared at the sky for a while as tears rolled down her eyes in torrents.

“I can't continue to live like this.” She muttered, wiping her eyes with the back of her palms.

Just then, Carlos walked past and at once she rushed towards him. Grabbing his hand, she pulled him to a corner, looking around to ascertain if someone was lurking around or watching them from afar.

Yanking his hand off, he rubbed his wrists as he peered at her, “What do you want?” He asked.

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    Ancient And Wars

THIRD POVThe war raged on between Nora and the Ancient Elder until she killed him. It was as if a powerful part of the Ancient was weakened. The moment his head separated from his body, something shifted in the air. The oppressive energy that had filled the chamber dissipated, leaving behind only the metallic scent of blood and the heavy panting of wounded warriors. The other Ancients faltered, their coordinated attacks becoming disjointed as their leader fell. Some turned to flee, only to be cut down by Carlos and King George. Elder Silvarum waved his staff with incantations and an invisible wall cracked. The sound was like glass shattering, though nothing visible broke. One moment the wall stood solid, the next a jagged crack appeared in what seemed to be empty air. The crack widened, spreading like spiderwebs until the entire barrier collapsed."Now!" Elder Silvarum shouted, his voice carrying far beyond the chamber.Werewolves and Lycans trooped inside the Ancient Pack chanting

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    He Was Dying

Third POVNora lunged toward the Ancient, both fighting in their wolf form. The Ancient's fur was ash-gray, matted with blood and dirt, while Reika's blue flames licked across her midnight black coat. Their massive bodies crashed together with the force of two trucks colliding. The Ancient snarled, yellow fangs gleaming as he snapped at Reika's throat. She dodged, twisting her body in a fluid motion before countering with a slash of her claws. They tore through the Ancient's shoulder, sending droplets of dark blood spattering across the marble floor. The two circled each other, muscles coiled tight, ready to spring. Reika's eyes burned with blue fire, reflecting the rage that consumed her. The Ancient's eyes were cold, calculating, centuries of battles evident in his measured movements. They crashed together again, a blur of fur and fangs and fury. The Ancient's jaws clamped down on Reika's foreleg, and she howled in pain before retaliating with a brutal slash across his muzzle. Bloo

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    Fight It

NORA’S POVDarkness. Then flashes of light. Voices calling my name from far away.I opened my eyes with a gasp, sitting bolt upright. The memories weren't gentle—they crashed into me like violent waves, each one more painful than the last.My mother's face. Her smile. Her screams as they took her away from me."ARGHHHH!" I let out an earth-shattering growl that shook the very walls around me. The sound wasn't human. It came from somewhere deeper."Nora!" Carlos's voice, distant through the fog of memory and rage. But I couldn't focus on him. The memories kept coming. My childhood in the Lycan kingdom. My training. The battles. My powers growing with each passing year. And the day they took my mother from me. The day they made me forget.I looked up to see my uncle, King Callum, lying in a pool of his own blood. His chest wasn't moving. His eyes stared unseeing at the ceiling. "No," I whispered, then screamed. "NO!"The pain of loss ripped through me like a physical wound. My uncle wh

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    Forgive Me

Nora My lungs hurt really bad from the way I had screamed Carlos name. "WAIT!" Elder Silvarum shouted. "Stop! I'll do it. I'll remove the curse."Elder Alaric froze. "You'll remove it? All of it?""Yes," Elder Silvarum said, defeat evident in his voice. "But I need to be unbound. And I need King Callum's assistance."Elder Alaric studied him for a moment, then nodded to the guards. "Release them. But only those two. And if you try anything..."He let the threat hang in the air as the guards cut the ropes binding Elder Silvarum and King Callum. The daggers remained at their throats as they slowly stood."Bring them to the girl," Elder Alaric ordered. The guards pushed Elder Silvarum and King Callum toward me. As they approached, I caught King Callum's eye. Even now, when I started at him, I could see the message he was trying to pass in his eyes. Last night. The voice in my head hadn't been a dream. It had been real."Trust in the moon, daughter. Trust in yourself."Not only had I

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    Let's Help With Your Decision

NORAI woke up to the sound of my cell door creaking open. Two Ancient guards stood there, their faces expressionless. I hated these moments when I coukd not read their expressions or tell what was going on. "Get up," one of them ordered. "The Elder wants you."My heart hammered in my chest. This was it. The day they planned to take my blood.I stood up slowly, my legs shaky but my resolve firm. The wolf inside me stirred, ready."Where are we going?" I asked, my voice steadier than I expected."You'll see," the second guard said, grabbing my arm roughly. They led me through winding corridors, up several flights of stairs. We were leaving the dungeon. We walked for a very long time, that it almost seemed like forever. Finally, we reached a set of massive wooden doors. They swung open silently as we approached, revealing a grand hall. My breath caught in my throat. There, in the center of the hall, were my children. My precious twins, held in some kind of magical bubble. They could s

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    They Would Regret It

NORA POV"Carlos?" I called out mentally, my heart racing with hope. "Carlos, is that really you?"The sound of his voice in my head nearly brought me to tears. After days in this prison, cut off from everyone I loved, hearing him felt like finding sunlight after an eternity of darkness."Nora!" His relief was palpable even through our mental connection. "Yes, it's me! Are you okay? Are the twins with you?""I can hear you!" My hands trembled with emotion. "I've been trying to reach you!""Where are you?" The desperation in his voice matched my own. "Are you hurt? Are the twins safe?"I pressed my hands against the cold wall of my cell, as if I could somehow reach through it to him. "I don't know where I am. Some kind of Ancient realm. They have our children, Carlos. They're using them to threaten me.""Have they hurt you? Or the twins?""Not yet," I told him, trying to keep my voice steady. "But they want to know who cursed my blood. They can't drink it—it kills them. That's why they

CARLOS POVElena's eyes twitched a bit as she continued staring at me. It seems she already guessed why I had to look for her. Biting my lips hard to control myself, I was prepared to speak when her voice cut through."Nephew," she greeted me, as if we were meeting for tea. "I wondered when you'd come.""You know why I'm here," I said coldly. I could hear her gloating, even with her fake smile plastered on her face. She inclined her head slightly. "Nora and the twins are missing. The whispers reach even down here."Her words hint at a deeper meaning. She was accusing me."Not missing," I corrected harshly. "Taken. By the Ancients. Your friends."Something flickered across her face. I was not sure if it was of surprise or if it was of concern. Nevertheless, that was the least of my worries. "The Ancients took them? All three?""Don't pretend you didn't know," I spat. "You've been working with them all along. You are the architect of everything."Elena stood slowly. " You are wrong, Ne

CARLOS POVA guard burst into the office, panting heavily. "The maid who was to clean the kids room just reported..." I didn't want for him finish. "The twins!" I suddenly remembered, my heart dropping like a stone.Sudden realization hit me, and wthout waiting for the others, I rushed out of my office pushing the guard down and sprinted down the hallway toward the twins room. My footsteps echoed loudly as I ran, panic rising with each step."Please be there," I whispered. "Please be safe."I burst through the door of the twins' room and froze. The cribs were empty. No Zack. No Zoe. Just rumpled blankets and abandoned stuffed animals."No," I breathed, moving forward on shaky legs. "No, no, no."I touched the blankets. Cold. But something else hung in the air. A strange scent, foreign and ancient, like dust and power and something not quite wolf.Elder Silvarum, and King Callum rushed in behind me, both stopping short at the sight of the empty room."They're gone," I said, my voice
