NORA'S POV

"Again!" My voice cracked like a whip across the training field.

Twenty-three warriors dropped into defensive stances, muscles quivering from exhaustion. They'd been at this for three hours, but I wasn't satisfied yet. Sweat soaked through their training gear despite the cool morning air, and more than one face showed the grim determination of wolves pushed to their limits.

"Marcus, your left flank is exposed," I called out, moving between the sparring pairs. "Sarah, stop telegraphing your strikes. Dylan, if you drop your guard like that against a real enemy, you'll be dead before you hit the ground."

I demonstrated the proper technique, my movements fluid despite the growing weight of my belly. The baby kicked as I pivoted, as if protesting the sudden motion.

"The enemy we're facing isn't playing by pack rules," I continued, stepping back to observe their form. "They won't give you time to recover. They won't show mercy b

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    It's Magic And It's Cursed

CARLOS POVThe war chamber felt like a tomb when the Lycan King entered at dawn. Shadows clung to his massive frame as he moved through the room, each step deliberate and silent despite his imposing size. The Alphas who'd answered my call fell quiet, their earlier debates dying on their lips."Your Majesty," I said, inclining my head. "Thank you for coming."He waved off the formality and moved directly to the table where we'd spread our findings. The binding rune sketches, photographs of the carved trees, witness statements from survivors of the recent attacks."I've seen this before," he said, his voice cutting through the tension like a blade. He traced one of the symbols with a finger. "This magic... it's not new. It's ancient. And it's cursed."Alpha Merik leaned forward from across the table. "You've encountered it personally?""Years ago. Fifty, maybe sixty." The Lycan King's expression darkened. "A pack in the northern te

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    What If He Had Changed?

NORA'S POVSleep refused to come.Every time I closed my eyes, Griffin's face materialized in the darkness—those unnatural eyes of his burning into mine, his fingers reaching toward me like he could tear something vital from my very essence. The rational part of my mind insisted it was just a vision, trauma-induced hallucination brought on by stress and exhaustion. But my instincts knew better. They always had."You're thinking too loud," Carlos murmured beside me, his arm tightening around my waist."Sorry." I shifted carefully, mindful of the growing curve of my belly. "I can't ignore the feeling that I'm missing something important.""What important?" I told Carlos everything about the "About Griffin?""About everything." I sat up, moonlight streaming through our bedroom window casting silver patterns across the sheets. "The attacks stopped too suddenly. No rogue sightings in weeks. It doesn't make

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    Training Session

NORA'S POV Dawn broke gray and cold as I walked onto the training field. Mist rolled across the packed earth, and my breath formed clouds in the crisp air. Warriors stood in loose formation, their faces uncertain. They'd never trained under me before."Line up!" My voice cut through the morning silence. "Two rows. Now."Boots shuffled against dirt as they scrambled into position. A few exchanged nervous glances."This isn't summer camp," I continued, pacing in front of them. "Every drill we run today could save your life tomorrow. Every technique you master might be the difference between coming home or feeding the crows."Rafe, a young wolf, shifted uncomfortably. "What exactly are we preparing for?""Death," I said flatly. "Questions?"Silence."Good. Partner up. We start with combat drills."I threw myself into the training with everything I had. When Marcus threw a sloppy punch, I caught his w

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    The Message

CARLOS POVI was reviewing some old border patrol reports in my office when the guard burst in without knocking. He was panting, his eyes wide with something between fear and urgency."My Alpha," he said, holding out a folded note. “A messenger brought this. He said it was urgent and disappeared before we could question him.”I stood, my heart already tightening with unease. I took the note, feeling its odd weight. The paper was thick, rough, as if it had been dragged through ash. My name was written on the front, but there was no seal—just jagged mark resembling a crescent moon with claw slashes.I unfolded it carefully. The words inside were brief and unsettling. "They are coming. A powerful force is moving through the southern border, taking smaller packs, enslaving them. You’re next if you don’t act. Watch your shadows. You need to do something soon or regret it later."I read it twice, then once more. I didn’t recognize the handwriting, but I didn’t need to. Whoever wrote it kn

  • Nora: Rejected Lost Princess    This Isn't Over

Nora's POV I pulled the blanket tighter around my shoulders, still feeling the lingering chill that seemed to have settled deep in my bones since the poisoning. Three days had passed since I began to recover slowly, and while my body was healing, my mind remained fractured with doubt and fear.I traced my fingers along the window's condensation, watching droplets race each other down the glass. Outside, pack members went about their daily routines—children laughing as they chased each other between the cabins, warriors training in the courtyard, elders sharing stories on their porches. Everything looked normal, peaceful even. But I knew better now. Beneath this facade of tranquility lurked something sinister, something that had tried to steal away the most precious thing Carlos and I had ever created. The stack of ancient scrolls and yellowed documents on the nightstand seemed to mock me with their silence. Carlos had spent countless hours digging through
