Scarlett

I went down and alexander was no where to be found, so I made my way towards my work station.

Like yesterday two different guards were there in the control room and as I entered they pointed their gun on me.

"guys guys can you please put your guns down" I asked sweetly not wanting to provoke them cause nobody want's to die a virgin.

"who are you? And how did you enter here?" one of them asked.

"I'm scarlett and I'm here for work, I hope zayn or Mr.Volkov had already told you about me" I said

"oh we are Sorry for holding you at the gunpoint, we didn't knew" other guard said and I just smiled at them.

"okay boy's, leave this room right now cause I'll have to start my work and do not disturb me for next 10 hours straight, right now it's 12:30pm so I want complete silence till 10pm atleast" I said setting my laptop and other stuff connecting it to the main computer.

"but we can't leave this room, soory ma'am security purposes" they said and I sighed.

Then I took my phone out and called zayn.

Ring Ring Ring.......

"zayn can you come and meet me inside the control room please" I said to him coming straight to the point.

"why?" he asked

"just come zayn, right now" I said sternly and he sighed.

"fine I'm coming" he said then I ended the call.

"how can you talk to boss zayn like this, he will kill you, if you order him like that" one of the guard said with a horrified expression on his face.

"he's my brother" I said and shrugged

"what?" a guard said

"sorry ma'am for holding you at the gunpoint, please don't tell boss he will kill us both" other said begging me.

"hey hey I'm not gonna do such thing and he will not kill you okay trust me" I said smiling at them and both gave me small smiles.

"what's up cupcake, you called?" zayn said coming inside and pulling me in a tight hug and kissed my forehead.

"can you tell them to leave this room and you know that I work alone and in silence but they are not ready to leave" I said keeping my hands on my hips.

"well you heard her, then leave and do as she says when she works, I don't want any complains. Am I clear?" zayn said in a bossy Tone.

"yes sir" they said and left, then zayn also left cause he have a lot of work to do.

Today my target is that I have to hack this old security system so that only I can have access to this security system and no other, this will help me to personalize and build a stronger security system.

And if Mr.Volkov wanted to have access then he have to ask me.

I went home after a tiring day of work at around 2:00am in night, I have to send zayn to italy to resolve some issue's over there cause there's a problem in import and export of arms and ammunition in italian mafia and right now I can't be over there.

I entered inside my house and went inside the kitchen to drink water, as I entered the kitchen it was clean like nobody ate food here today, I wondered did scarlett eat today or not.

Whole penthouse was silent and quite, obviously it was so late scarlett must be sleeping. I entered inside my room and check the CCTV footage of office to see if it was properly locked or not, but the screen was black and it said ACCESS CAN'T BE GRANTED.

I went downs to check, as the lift open

I entered the floor and lift behind me closed. It was very dark on this floor as I took my first step I bumped into someone and I came in my fighting stance and kicked whoever the person was in his knees and shot his left leg.

Then person cried in agony but it was a girls voice. I switched on the lights of hall and saw scarlett laying on the floor clutching her leg tightly, blood was coming out from her leg and she was crying hysterically.

"fuck, I'm sorry scarlett, I thought you're some spy or agent, I'm really sorry" I said panicking.

"don't come near me" she said crying but I ignored her and carry her bridal style.

"let me go" she said struggling in my arms.

"stop struggling or you'll fall and let me stitch it your loosing blood" I said and she hugged me tightly while sobbing on my shoulder.

I quickly put her on the kitchen counter as I reached the penthouse.

"scarlett just stay Still and don't look over here when I will stitch you or you will faint" I said and started stitching her left left calf muscle after removing the bullet. Then I wrapped it securely while scarlett was silently sobbing.

"you have high pain tolerance" I said picking her up again.

"can you stop picking me up and let me walk" she said wrapping her arms around my neck.

"no, you won't be able to walk for 2 or 3 days" I said and laid her carefully on her bed.

"oh but how will work now" she said furrowing her eyebrows.

"take rest and I'm kindly apologize for my action by the way, what were you doing there at this time and why can't I have access to my cctv camera" I asked looking straight in her eye's so she wouldn't lie.

"well my work just completed and I was coming up to sleep and about your access issues, you can't have access cause now I control your security system and I have to build a stronger one so till then if you want to see or have access you have to ask me" she said and I sighed.

"okay, now you can take rest" I said and turned to leave.

"good night Mr.Volkov" she said and I just noded.

I totally judged her wrong, I thought she would be in my penthouse enjoying the luxury but instead she worked whole day and I'm damn sure that she didn't eat anything today after she started working. And how can she say goodnight to me when just 30 minutes earlier I shot her.

I sighed and went inside my room to sleep.
