Chapter 2 : Her Plan

"Who are you?!" She exclaimed as she tried to hide her body. The man's face turned red instantly and stormed out at once.

"Pervert!"

Avery shouted. She even felt her body tremble in fear. Maybe someone had another key to her room? Maybe John set this up? Or maybe his wife did it? John told her that she was a dangerous woman. Avery started to feel worried and scared about what would possibly happen to her.

She got her nightgown and wore it then headed to the hallway to check if there was anyone there. But to her luck, the hallway was empty. She checked the doorknob to see if it was broken. Maybe it was not safe for her to stay? Or maybe she should get the door fixed?

Her heart continued to beat fast as her thoughts about the pervert increased. She would definitely tell the management about this. Her only problem was that she couldn't remember how he looked like. She was about to call John when she noticed that he still hadn't replied. He would reply to her photos almost immediately so she was feeling a bit weird about his actions.

Despite what just happened, she didn't want to leave the condominium. She knew how hard it is to move. After a few hours, she heard someone open the door.

"Avery?"

He walked to the bedroom to see her looking by the window in her nightgown. He sighed, he really didn't want to leave Avery, but he knew his wife would harm her.

"Hey"

John held her shoulder and she turned to him. She looked elegant with her clear skin and silky hair. Even if John did not want to admit it, his heart skipped a beat. She looked at him with loving eyes as she reached for his face. He moved closer to her and she smiled, "Welcome home."

John tried to move away but he was already captivated by her smile so he leaned more to reach her lips. She smiled as she kissed him back.

"I have a surprise for you."

John watched as she slowly removed her nightgown, revealing her sexy body. His eyes were glued to her, making her smirk. John struggled to look away, "Are you done packing?"

Avery cupped his face to make him turn to her, "Just give me the condo, John. This way, you can always visit me anytime you want to."

John looked at her from head to toe. How could he resist this beautiful woman in front of him? Avery stood up and looked at him with lustful eyes. She placed her hand on his chest, making his legs weak.

"Come on, John. Even my baby? Can't I keep him?"

John turned to the small dog sleeping peacefully on the bed. Her hands moved to his stomach. This caught his attention and he turned to her.

"Please?"

"I.. I'll try to talk to my.."

She cut him off by kissing him. His phone suddenly rang and he moved away immediately. She took a deep breath and wore her nightgown again.

"Yes, she will leave tonight. Yes. Yes. No.. You don't need to go"

He turned to her. "She's coming here."

Avery raised an eyebrow. "I'm not going to leave. This is my place."

Just then, the door opened. The room was suddenly filled with sounds coming from high heels. John looked afraid and nervous while Avery prepared herself.

The woman in her 40s stopped in front of the bedroom looked angry as ever. She wore the same clothing brands as John and her perfume was too strong that could make one's nose hurt. Not only that, but her jewelries also look extremely expensive, exactly what one should expect from a rich man's wife.

"What are you still doing here?" Avery smiled, "This is my place. What are you doing here?"

The woman turned to John and crossed her arms. "John?"

John tried to console his wife but she ignored him. She kept on glaring at Avery who wasn't affected at all. Avery was about to walk out of the room when the woman grabbed her arm.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"Uh, out? I don't want to be in this mess."

Avery moved her arm away, surprising the couple. The woman was about to hit Avery but John stopped her. Avery raised her eyebrow and smirked. She was about to walk away when the woman spoke.

"You will not get a single cent from us."

Avery turned around and smiled. "Watch me."

The thing about Avery was that she was prepared. If plan A did not work, she still had plan B, and even both of them didn't work, there was always plan C. So when John's wife came, Avery knew that she needed to carry out plan C, though the plan would ruin their lives.

The couple eventually left after an hour. Avery got her things and headed to her bestfriend's place. When Avery entered Jane's apartment that night, the latter was busy watching TV. Her hair was tied up and she was wearing her favorite pajama. She turned to see Avery with a smirk on her face.

"Plan B didn't work huh"

Avery nodded and hopped on the couch beside Jane. "Well, I am prepared for plan C. I just don't understand why they can't give me the condominium and the dog."

Jane glared at her friend. "You're seriously asking me that?"

Avery rolled her eyes and got some chips from Jane. "He's one of the richest men in the country. Those aren't worth anything to him."

"Are you sure plan C is a good idea?"

Avery laughed, the kind of laugh she used whenever she was plotting something bad. "I asked them nicely, twice. So it's not my fault anymore."

Avery got her phone to look at a certain phone number. Tomorrow, she would get everything she wanted, her condominium, things, and dog. She would win again. John and his wife would come begging to her.
