Not Her Usual Target

"I'm sorry, honey, my wife found about us. We need to stop this."

Avery stopped sipping her favorite Urban Remedy juice and looked at him. The man in front of her was the CEO of a mobile phone company called JDC Mobile. From the brand of his shoes to his suit, one could already tell that he was one of the richest men in the country. His posture also indicated that he was educated. He was a man of wealth and power, the perfect target for Avery.

"What about my condominium? Who's going to finish paying that?"

He bit his nails as he thought of a solution. His phone then rang and his wife's name showed up. Avery smirked then her gaze turned to the old man.

"I… Technically, the owner of the condominium is me. You just need to move out."

Avery moved closer to him, showing a bit of her cleavage. He liked her chest too much that it became his weakness. His expression immediately changed when his gaze turned to her chest.

She smiled and pursed her lips, "But you told me it's mine. We did a lot of naughty things there, are you just going to forget those?"

When he failed to respond, she sat back and looked at him. She moved her legs under the table and stopped when it reached his thighs, making him jump a bit. She smiled seductively at his reaction. His phone rang again and his reaction turned to a scared one.

He got his bag and prepared to leave, "I'm sorry, Avery. Please leave the condominium immediately. Get your things. I will come back tonight and I hope you're not there."

She nodded as she watched him stand up, "I'll give you one last present, John. For all the good things you did for me."

She looked at his pants and smiled upon seeing a small bulge on his pants, "Unless… you are excited to get it?"

He immediately covered his pants with his bag and left the restaurant. This was not the first time this happened. A lot of her ex'es wives found out the truth and tried to break them apart but a simple seduction could help her stay a little bit more.

John, unlike her other partners, was scared of his wife. His wife was a control freak and never satisfied his desires, so when he met Avery, he almost immediately fell for her. Avery also used her charms and intelligence to catch him for a year.

Avery thought this day would arrive but what she did not expect is he got everything he gave her back, including the condominium. She had no intentions of leaving that condominium. It had the best spot in the city.

Avery finished her drink and smiled. She still had one trick up her sleeve that can convince John to give her more.

Avery was the type of woman who could make everyone turn around whenever she walked by. Moreover, she had a charm with that men found irresistibly attractive. Her model-build body with golden brown hair, fair skin, blue eyes, even her dulcet voice could always gently touch the softest, deepest place in men's hearts.

Avery moved her glass in the middle of the table, got her pouch, and stood up. Some men and women turned to her but she didn't mind, she was used to receiving their admiring glance.

She went back to her room and started fixing herself. In order to get what she wanted, she needed to look irresistible. She checked all her things to find the sexiest lingerie she had. She brushed her long golden-brown hair and applied some lipstick.

Avery lighted some scented candles and the room was flooded with soft light immediately. After being with John for a year, she knew exactly the things he liked and she planned to use these to win him, again. She laid in bed and took a photo of herself that she could take advantage later. At the moment, her phone rang. Avery stopped and checked her phone. It was her best friend, Jane.

"Still free later?"

"Oh babe, I'm sorry, I can't. John's wife found out so I have plans with him tonight."

Jane sighed from the other line, "Aren't you tired of living this way, Ave?"

Avery closed her eyes. This was not the first time she heard those words from her bestfriend.

"Jane…"

"Come on, Ave. You're smart. You came from a prestigious school. You can get any work you want. So why are you staying with these men? Is this still about your dad?"

She stopped. A mention of that guy made her feel angry in an instant. She sighed, a little loud to make her friend stop.

"I'll talk to you tomorrow."

She didn't wait for Jane to respond and cut the call. Her dog, which was a small brown cocker spaniel, got on top of the bed beside her. The dog wagged its tail to catch her attention.

"Hi there"

The dog licked her cheek and laid beside her. She smiled and looked at the dog about to sleep.

"Don't worry, mommy's going to make sure that everything's alright. I just need to please him a bit."

She sent a photo to John and waited for him to respond. He loved receiving provocative photos from her. It made him excited and looked forward to coming home. But he didn't reply. Avery raised her eyebrow. This was unexpected from John. She was about to move to her next plan when the door opened.

Avery could hear the footsteps nearing her. She smiled and turned to him, giving him a great view of her body while wearing her best lingerie. She was always confident about her body. John loved seeing her like this. He looked at her as if she was a treasure that he never thought he'd have.

She was expecting John's lustful look, but her smile faded when she realized that it was not John.
