SARAH"Ok. Next group. Come on. Quiet. Guys hurry." We lead the groups of twenty-five at a time across the field. To the rigged fence. "Follow Sam. He'll get your packs. Hurry." JAYSON"What do you mean you haven't found them yet?" I growl at River in his office.He sighs in a frustrated tone. "We're trying. You're right, they're fast. We found a kill zone though.""What the first pack?" I arch my brow.He nods. "Yep, they killed everything. No one was left alive. Jay, it looked like a bunch of rabid dogs went through there. SARAHBlood pours down my neck. Through my blonde fur, turning it red.I tear the flesh of the dead rogue off its corpse and swallow it. It feels so good since we haven't eaten in two days.I look around the open field. The graveyard of rogue pack two, is covered in blood, mud and filth. JAYSONIt really is amazing what kind of tech you can bring on a mission like this. You think you'd have to sacrifice things like communication to the outside world, but not with the mission unit. We got that covered.With every break, River's been communicating with the leaders and the bases. Getting Intel as we get closer to the rogue packs. SARAHI don't know how long we've been running. Shortly after I lost sight of Jayson, I lost consciousness. I don't know who this guy is, but he's got a mean grip. When I come too, I'm hit with a sickening stench right under my nose.It takes me a minute to realize I'm moving. I'm facing the ground and it's whizzing by me.I feel fur under me.As I come back to reality, I see I'm on the back of a rogue. Hog tied around his stomach."Wh..Wha..what?" I panic. JAYSON I'm desperate. Angry. My legs are on fire but don't fucking care. I've been running for hours. Sniffing the air and the ground. My biggest problem is the entire forest is filled with the scent of rogue. I'm not a tracker. I can't zone in on anything. On the ground, paw prints are everywhere.
