Victoria’s POV

Alex!

I woke with a start and looked around me to find I was back at Zane’s.

I could not be here.

What I needed was to be with my mate.

Alex.

He needed me, and yet here I was.

“Zane!” I yelled, throwing the covers off me and shouting for him.

I was so mad that he had got me back here.

I wanted to go back to the pack house.

Nobody was around, and that made me even more annoyed.

Where the hell was he, and where was everyone else?

Suddenly I was pulled into a room and found myself face-to-face with Zane.

He pushed me against the wall, and in a second, I felt his lips brush against mine.

What was he doing?

Zane!

I pushed him away and screamed at him to leave me alone.

What did he think he was doing?

He knew full well that I had a mate already, and that was not going to be taken lightly. He was crazy. I did not feel anything for him in that way, and we were only friends, nothing more.
