"Morning, Charlotte, rise and shine," my nanny whispered into my ears, and I stirred in my sleep.

"Is it morning already?" I whined, grumbling in my sleep, but when her words sank in that it was the D-Day, my eyes flung open, and I shot out of bed almost immediately.

"It's morning." My eyes glimmered with delight as I scanned my room.

Everywhere was shining brightly, the curtains raised up, and the morning sun filtered into it. It made every blue crystal in my room sparkle, and it was a beautiful sight to behold.

Almost everything in my room is made of blue colors because I'm in love with blue, but my friends say it's weird because I'm a princess.

It isn't all princesses that love blue, is it? I'm a living example of one of those princesses.

I go naturally with the flow, I follow my heart's desires, so being a princess wouldn't make me a barbie girl.

I pushed off the duvet from my legs before I turned to Eva, my young nanny.

"Where are my parents?"

"They're out."

"They're out of their room already? It seems I'm not the only one so interested in this."

"Everyone is already assembled."

"Does this mean the party has started?"

"Yes, dear. The music is blasting in the auditorium. If you don't hurry up, you'll be later than you already are right now."

My eyes widened at what she said. I've been looking forward to this day, but right now, I'm already late, and I would turn into a late party attendee at my sibling's gender reveal?

"Why didn't you or anyone wake me up?" I demanded, obviously annoyed. I wanted to be the first person present in the auditorium, at least to honor the little presence of my little brother who would be arriving in the werewolf world today.

"It was Luna's order not to wake you up."

I frowned, my eyes narrowing into tiny slits. Why wouldn't Luna want me to be woken up early on a very special day, knowing how busy I've been, impatiently waiting for this day?

"And why did she give such an order on my behalf?"

"She said you needed to rest. You've been head over heels for the party and have been awake all through the night."

"Oh, umm, that's actually right. I hadn't slept last night, and I'm sure you must have told her about it, but I wouldn't scold you today, because today is my day. Where's she now?" I arched a brow at her, and she smiled lightly before answering, "she's in labor."

Immediately, I heard the word labor, I was already off my bed and running for the door.

I had prepared myself very early this morning before I slept, so I was ready to attend the party.

"Damnit, you're so slow with your speeches. Why didn't you inform me earlier that the main event was already taking place?" My face was crimson red with anger, and I felt like disappearing from my room and appearing in the Congress hall.

My body tingled nervously, making me feel like I would pass out at any moment if I didn't step foot into that auditorium and sit on my throne.

My dad has his throne, my mum has her throne, and I just got a throne.

"I'm sorry, Charlotte, but I told you that the festival has already begun," my nanny tried to make me understand her reason for compromising, but I had no interest in listening. I was head over heels for today's festival.

"You should have gone straight to the point that my mum, our Luna is in labor, not beating around the bush like a tortoise. You're a she-wolf," I peeked in the room through the door and scolded her.

I didn't fail to glance at where a mysterious skull had been drawn, but noticed that the former skull was gone, replaced with a bigger skull which housed the heart I had drawn.

"What could that mean? Why was the skull now covering my heart?" I grumbled, a frown settling in my face.

I had no idea, and besides, someone might be spying on me and trying to scare me, but I refuse to be scared. But how possible was it for someone to climb up a glass wall to the third floor?

I scoffed, and my scoff resonated in my room. After directing my glare at her, I closed the door to my room with a thud before sprinting off like someone who was being chased by a ghost.

A wide smile was worn on my face as I stood before the entrance door of the auditorium, adjusting my pants and hair.

"It isn't nice to stare too much," I cleared my throat and scolded the guards without sparing them a glance. They stared at me too much, and I felt like their gazes were drilling holes into my head.

The elegant doors were then pushed open, creating an entrance passage for me, and I stepped into the grand auditorium.

I wanted to hold up my gown and walk in like a princess would, but I then realized that I had my pants on, not a gown.

I stuck my hands into my side pocket before I began strolling through the stage. I became the sole point of attention, but I wasn't bothered, and my straight stoic face remained.

The speaker who was addressing the congregation also shut up his mouth in my presence.

For those who might be wondering why I passed through the stage exit door to enter the auditorium, it was just a show off. I wasn't performing on a stage, and I had nothing to perform.

I looked perfect, my sneakers were beautiful, my hair the definition of perfection. I wasn't flaunting my beauty, but I was flaunting my beautiful outfits.

Today is my day, so why wouldn't I do the show off?

That isn't the only reason though; it was because the stage door was meant for the mansion's residents.

We were supposed to pass through a corner created for us where we wouldn't be seen entering the auditorium.

My throne was seated majestically at the dark end, down the stage, covered in its glory, and I was more than determined to go for it.

I would no longer be sitting among my friends just like I did before, because I have a throne which I'll fancy forever, and would be crowned a princess once my mum conceives.

It's our tradition, and right now, a festival is being held for the arrival of the heir to the all-brown pack, that's if it's a male child.

Stares from the crowd were boring holes into every part of my body, and I finished my little show off, reaching my throne.

Before I could take my seat, the hall chorused with applause, and screams of happiness took over.

My innocent heart skipped in fear, thinking that something bad was happening, but I immediately hid my fears when I realized that they were applauding me as I'm about to sit on my throne.
