The wind swept past his hair as he rode the Harley at almost eighty miles per hour flashing past cars on the highway. Luckily there weren't human cops around as not only would that slow him down, neither did he have time to listen to their speed limit theatrics.

Kai was perfectly honed in on Delilah's scent as he allowed that to be the main centre of his focus. No matter where she fled to today he was determined to find her.

She was going to have to explain to him what this type of behaviour meant, why she had left him in the wee hours of the morning just after they had confessed their love to each other.
