"No," a voice boomed from somewhere behind the sea of gathered pack members. Kai lifted his head weakly and focused his eyes on a shape that was slowly making its way from behind the pack. As his eyes remained on the shape, the features of Rose came into view. Dressed in a blood-red gown that made her complexion gleam strangely in the dark night, her long ebony hair falling in waves behind her back. She was a pretty sight.
