Chapter 14 (moving into the pack house)

Charlotte’s point of view:

I would have said home sweet home, but I know deep within that there is nothing sweet and relaxing about this place, it’s never been comforting, even as a child it’s like the only place I found comfort was in the arms of my mother.

I went into the door that was held open for me, and immediately I go into the empty space there was nothing familiar about it, but this used to be my room, there was nothing inside here.

“If you can give us a couple of minutes we would get certain things arranged, and then you could settle down” the red haired guy says.

“Yeah” with that he shuts the door and I let my body slide down from the wall to the ground.
