“I don’t think I can do it.” Adrenaline rushes through my blood when the car we’re riding in approaches my father’s estate, the long queue of cars are the proof that Mathew Ramirez doesn’t miss to show off the wealth he possesses.

He doesn’t answer. He’s sitting rigid like the first time I met him, devoid of any emotion on his handsome face. He has been ignoring me since I made it clear that he can’t walk on my pride. He should understand it but his ignorance is also unbearable.

“You can’t stay mad at me forever.” I comment under my breath and see my house coming into view. It is decorated like a bride, bathed in yellow lights. The area is tightly guarded. What’s the occasion which made him this happier that he’s spending money like water.

“We’ll enter from the backside entrance. I do not want to be the gossip of the night than I already am.” I say and again silence responds to me.

It just like how it was in the initial days of our marriage, no words, just simple gestur
