A second date?

Parking her car on the Victorian University campus, Coral makes her way to the administration office where she needs to seek some things out. On her way, she notices Shane walking in her direction and she suddenly feels tense. He stops and flashes his big smile. “Hey. Been a while.”

Coral forces a smile that does not reaches her eyes. “Yeah. How are you?”

“Heartbroken” he answers in a deep tone, gazing into her eyes. She looks away as his gaze makes her uncomfortable. “I was actually,” he says, the tone changes again to lighter. “I am fine now. What are you doing here, anyway?”

“I am here to submit my project to Mrs. Griffin.”

“For the Marine house project? Damn, you completed it already?”

“Yeah. Alright, so I'll get going now. See you later” Coral says and with a smile, she brushes past him. Coral does not expect to see Shane today, or nowhere on campus at all. He looks back and finds him staring at her. That makes her a bit uncomfortable.
