“I do not mind but I have a friend over and I would love for her to come with me if that is okay with you” I muttered into the phone while Audrey stared at me.

“Yes, she will be very invincible. I do not feel like leaving her all alone in a place she knows no one” I explained.

I had not expected the phone call from Luca or his invitation for me to join him for dinner which he claimed was his way of making it up to me for what had happened because of his father.
