CHAPTER 13

He stared on for a few seconds, finding it difficult to believe his eyes. He rubbed it constantly to be sure he wasn't dreaming but then it didn't work. He thought of something else and decided to pinch himself. He drew a portion of his skin and immediately felt the pain, yelping like a drenched dog.

*Hi Jacob! What's up with you? Why are you acting all strange and weird? Are you alright?" The person asked with a confused grimace, wondering what had come over him. Jacob swallowed hard and clenched his hand into a fist.

"What are you doing here? Why are you here?" He shot at her with a thick frown adorning his face. He wasn't in the least excited to see her and if he was to be honest with himself, then he wanted her to leave at once.

"And what sort of question is that, Jacob? Am I not welcome here anymore? As at the last time I checked, I was still very much welcome here and in your life and I don't think that has changed from the last time!" She said with an e
