AURELIA'S POINT OF VIEW

With wider eyes and an expression of confusion, I check the contents of the email again, just to be clear that I am not dreaming. It is here, not moving, not changing, or disappearing.

SALARY INCREAMENT, the words ring out to me, echoing through my mind as the very recesses of my mind tell me that all of this is a dream, and not the reality that I am living in. Sitting up, I hold the duvet against my chest fiercely with one hand, the other with my phone.

Did Levi do this?, I ask myself. The sender of the email is clearly him, but the name is a bit different. It looks like it is from HR instead of him directly. It feels like a lifeline, like a hand stretched out to finally save me from the dangerous hellhole this place is.

If Levi did this, why did he? Why would he even care like that?

He has been nothing short of cold since our paths crossed again in that conference room, so his doing this would only make me confused.

I close the email with pursed lips and a s

  • ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MY PROFESSOR AND LAWYER BOSS!    TWENTY-EIGHT.

LEVI'S POINT OF VIEW.The sound of the door shutting behind us reminds me of where I am, white walls, the smell of disinfectant, the sounds of machines, the smell of linoleum, the white walls, everything sends me back down a dark path....a few years ago.Aurelia rushes to the bed her brother lies in, hooked to different machines by wires like he is some lab rat- it looks sad, pitiful even. She appears soft, frantic, as she examines him, her hands rubbing his forehead, as though she looks for a sigh that he is truly still alive, and not a ghost.Desmond Cross, the convicted rapist. The man accused and charged with the rape of New York socialite Margret Blawe, and sentenced to life. Hooked up to so many machines by the wires, he looks nothing like the monster the media portrays him to be. His pale face rests somewhat peacefully as he lies in bed, his stab wounds bandaged as he fights for his life. The only proof of life is the rise and fall of his chest, an indication that him having

  • ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MY PROFESSOR AND LAWYER BOSS!    TWENTY-SEVEN.

LEVI'S POINT OF VIEW.She hasn't spoken a word in over twenty minutes- twenty-seven minutes to be exact. I know because I've been counting the seconds from the moment we walked out of my office.Time seems to stop when we are together, but now...it's moving, even though we are together. Maybe it's because she isn't fucking breathing, talking, or even moving. She just sits by with her knees pulled tight to her chest, her hands wrapped snugly around them as she shivers, even though the heat is turned up.My body would welcome the heat in other circumstances, especially after that incident when I was seven, but for some reason, I hate it right now. I want her to stop shivering.I need her to stop shivering. On a normal day, the look of her feet on my seat would make my skin itch, even I have never had my feet on my seat, no matter how clean I make sure I am every damn day. However, I, for some reason, like it. The look of her polished toenails peeking as I clench the steering wheel, the

  • ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MY PROFESSOR AND LAWYER BOSS!    TWENTY-SIX.

AURELIA'S POINT OF VIEW.I don't remember dropping my phone, nor did the sound of its clatter as it hit the floor register in my mind. All I know is I crumbled as I fell to the floor, boneless, gut-wrenched, and bitter, as a wail rushed up my throat and out of my mouth. My brother has been stabbed.Desmond was stabbed. The image of my brother, lying on the floor of the bathroom, as he bled out, his wounds causing him a great deal of pain, his light brown skin possibly pale from the loss of blood as he lay there for God knows how long, before he was found, and then rushed to the hospital."Aurelia?" His voice barely registers in my mind as my mind spirals. This is all my fault; all that has happened is my fault. If I had stayed away from Levi, I would be more focused on my brother's case, and I could have at least gotten him transferred to a safer, more civilized prison, and not the hell-hole he is currently incarcerated in.If I had stayed away and focused on my primary goal, this mi

  • ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MY PROFESSOR AND LAWYER BOSS!    TWENTY-FIVE.

AURELIA'S POV."I'M PREGNANT!" Her words from earlier haunt my soul as she screams, desperation clawing at her, the security doing their best to hold her back in their tight grip. The second the words fall from her lips, Levi turns to her, his eyes sharp, set on her, his fists clenched by his side, his lips pulled in a firm, dangerous line."You're pregnant," He says, his voice low, dangerous, menacing. "We haven't touched or seen each other in four years, Margert. So, unless I emailed my sperm to you, you cannot possibly be pregnant with my child." His voice is still low, calm, the complete opposite of his facial expression. She tries to claw her way out of their grip, her hands moving, flailing like those of a child drowning, as she says, "Levi, listen-""No, you listen very attentively to me," Levi says, his voice rising like a tidal wave, controlled, precise, and then booming. "Don't you dare utter another word."Security's grip tightens on her arms, but she fights it, wailing li

  • ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MY PROFESSOR AND LAWYER BOSS!    TWENTY-FOUR

AURELIA'S POVMy knees are still shaking as I lean over the desk, the aftershocks from earlier still racking through my body as it pulses from his touch, as his firm grip on my waist keeps me steady, even as everything spins, making me a bit dizzy. What have I done? What have we done? The events of the past few minutes plays in my mind, reminding me of just how fucked up this is. I should never have done that, this is so wrong.Different questions fill my mind, as I try not to let him know about the storm in my mind, as he fixes himself, before he goes to the door. I am no fool; this might seem thrilling right now, but this is a disaster waiting to happen. The taste of him from earlier lingers on my tongue as I fix myself as quickly as possible. His words from earlier echo through my mind.Mine. He had said, leaving no questions, no room for arguments or any form of objection. His blue eyes direct itself at me as he looks me over, his hand on the door knob before he says,"Are you re

  • ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MY PROFESSOR AND LAWYER BOSS!    TWENTY-THREE

LEVI'S POV.The taste of her lips lingers on mine from our kiss earlier, as they trembled from the force of her orgasm, her body taut, lax, made for my taking. She looks at me with hooded eyes, masked by her pleasure, and it is in that moment that it becomes even clearer- she is mine."On your knees," I order again, repeating my words from earlier. She nods, falling to her knees like she is about to pray to me, her eyes set straight on mine, unmoving, unshaking as she waits for my next move."Hands behind your back" I order again, my dick twitching in delight as she obeys immediately, not even questioning me. "Good girl," I praise softly, as I release my pant trousers from the belt."I want no hands, suck me off like your life depends on it baby" I order, relishing in the way she licks her lower lips in anticipation and eagerness. My dick all to happy to be back in the warm enclave of her mouth again, the first time since that night in my apartment. With a satisfied groan, my dick is r
