Chapter 12: TRAIN OF TURMOILS

Joanna's POV

I woke up to a call from Mr Vance telling me to rush to the company as there was an emergency, and I'm hoping it was not a bad one because I don't want to start my day as a bad one. I had enough yesterday and want to be happy today.

I looked at Yolanda, she was sleeping so peacefully. I did not want to wake her from her sleep, so I went to the bathroom to wash and dress up.

Today will be a stressful day for me, I could tell from the way Mr Vance called me so early in the morning. I wanted to rest today but I guess that won't be possible.

I rushed out of the house without informing anyone, I didn't even wait to eat the meal Chris prepared. I had an emergency and according to my business ethics, an emergency should be treated as one.
