Chapter 15

Ivyrose’s POV

I woke up to Hailey’s loud snores. I was so tired from yesterday’s events that when we arrived at the Charles de Gaulle airport around midnight, I told the cab driver to take us to the cheapest but still a clean and cozy hotel. A few hours later I found my head resting on the softest pillow and closing my eyes.

The sun’s rays were eager to greet me behind the curtains of our small one bedroom hotel room. I took a deep breath while I sat on the bed and stretched my arms up. This is going to be a good week. I’m not going to stress. I’ll know if there’s a baby or not when I get back to reality. I said to myself as I got up and walked over to the curtained glass doors and opened them. I inhaled the fresh air as I closed my eyes and lifted my head toward the warmth of the sun.
