It was a beautiful Sunday on the day before Christmas, and we decided to spend our day off hanging out together. Ricardo Sanguin’s POVVilla de Sanguin was once again filled with laughter because our little Harmony would not sit still. She and Seb were playing tag inside the living room, the old man was having the time of his life running after an almost two yr old you would never imagine him to be a stone cold killer.Ivyrose and Hailey were in the kitchen helping the cooks prepare our dinner. Ivyrose’s POV I tried calling a million times today again, but Hailey and Hudson's phone only kept ringing. My heart pounded in my ears wondering if anything happened to the three of them. "It's been two days since we last talked, mom. All I know is I woke up Christmas morning and I was alone. Only a voice message from Gareth that he has to go away for two days with the padrino and he asked me to stay here and to trust him. Shit. I hate not knowing. You know me, mom." "Oh honey, I'm sure they're just doing some couple soul searching therapy thingy. Leave them alone and stop worrying. You'll get wrinkles. Ricardo Sanguin's POV The sound of the gunfire right in front of me rang sharp and cost me my hearing. I saw Ivy drop the gun on the floor and kneeled right after, crying. For a few seconds I was lost in the suddenness of everything that transpired, thinking I got shot by Rex. With my shaking hands I hurriedly unlocked the chain from my foot and ran to Ivyrose. Ivyrose’s POV It felt good to be unknown. I loved how I could walk the streets and people didn’t have any idea who I was or would judge me for my sins. Being off the grid in the city of Kuta in Bali, was the best decision I ever made. I lived in a rental cottage that’s only big enough for four people, but I couldn’t be any happier than living in all the mansions in New York. Sometimes I felt so all alone and scared that I liked to think that Paul and Ivan were secretly living a few houses down the road and were still watching over me, trying their best to be invisible, ordered by Gareth to give him peace of mind that I was safe. The market fruit vendor, Mr. Uwir, who also happened to be my neighbor, handed me a plastic bag full of mangostenes and we exchanged small talk until eventually it ended with him inviting me to attend his granddaughter's birthday party the next day. He made a program that could hack…”Gareth turned the TV off before he jumped into the bed with me. He tickled my feet and I kicked and screamed for him to stop in between fits of laughter. I was just randomly changing channels when Christopher’s face showed up and I got curious. It was his interview for a talk show.I knew what it was going to be about. Gareth told me how, after I disappeared, Christopher fought with him and they almost killed each other before he listened to Gareth about where I really was. But there I was in the penthouse suite with my fiance wearing only her lacy red lingerie—waiting for me to call the man who bought her for the night. Of course she didn’t know that was the case. And as I looked at her sitting on the bed, an image of pure perfection, I hoped to God, she would never find out my darkest secrets. "What has gotten into you?" Ivyrose asked.
