Ivyrose’s POV I tried calling a million times today again, but Hailey and Hudson's phone only kept ringing. My heart pounded in my ears wondering if anything happened to the three of them. "It's been two days since we last talked, mom. All I know is I woke up Christmas morning and I was alone. Ricardo Sanguin's POV The sound of the gunfire right in front of me rang sharp and cost me my hearing. I saw Ivy drop the gun on the floor and kneeled right after, crying. For a few seconds I was lost in the suddenness of everything that transpired, thinking I got shot by Rex. With my shaking hands I hurriedly unlocked the chain from my foot and ran to Ivyrose. I hugged her as we both sat there and cried with Nestor and Rex’s bodies on the floor, their blood pooling around us. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry, Rosie.” I repeated, again and again. Ivyrose’s POV It felt good to be unknown. I loved how I could walk the streets and people didn’t have any idea who I was or would judge me for my sins. Being off the grid in the city of Kuta in Bali, was the best decision I ever made. I lived in a rental cottage that’s only big enough for four people, but I couldn’t be any happier than living in all the mansions in New York. Sometimes I felt so all alone and scared that I liked to think that Paul and Ivan were secretly living a few houses down the road and were still watching over me, trying their best to be invisible, ordered by Gareth to give him peace of mind that I was safe.
