Cassian took a sip from his glass of bourbon and placed it on the side stool."What cameras?" He asked, cocking his brows at her.Sinora looked at him as if he thought she were a fool and then she kicked off her heels and started to search the living room.Cassian checked his watch casually and then reclined against the chair, picking up his glass again, he took a sip from it.When she eventually wore herself out, Sinora sank onto one of the chairs, the tail of her dress thrown carelessly on the floor."Finished?" Cassian asked, curving one leg over the other, observing her with his signature unbothered look."I would never really escape, would I?" She muttered to herself."What are you talking about?" She looked around the empty church hall, before catching the Dark King's eyes again, but he wasn't looking at her. His eyes were fixated on the paper in his hands.A mixture of horror and nonchalance graced his face. She helped Sinora place a pilow behind her back so she could sit up properly.Sinora didn't think much of it because she knew her foster mother didn't do anything out of the goodness of her heart, and her near death experience was not going to change that."What are you doing here?" Sinora fell into the pool with such a heavy splash that it took a while before she remembered she knew how to swim. The shock had sent waves to her brain that made her spend a little while spluttering before swimming back to the surface.When she finally got herself together, she looked up to find Madeley staring down at her with a smile on her face. "Having trouble, sis?" Madeley tilted her head sideways with a sinister smile."Madeley, what sort of twisted game is this? Why did you push me into the pool? What is wrong with you?!"
