When we got back to the car, Hakan didn't sit close to me. Usually, he always makes me sit right next to him, or he would carry me on his legs. Now he just ignored me and focused on his phone. I wrapped my arms around myself and stared out the window till the silence became unbearable. So I tried to apologise.

"Kan, I'm…"

"Save it, Nightingale. I don't want to hear your excuses. You did what you did, and that's all there is to it." He cut me off without even looking up at me.

"I'm not trying to make excuses. I just want to apologise." I replied to him.

"Your apology won't appease me either. I'm so mad at you right now. But more than that, I'm disappointed. Today was supposed to be for us, I took you out to make you happy. I had a whole day planned just for you. Yet, at the first chance you got, you wanted to leave me. The best option for you right now is to leave me be. I can't even look at you right now without feeling anger."

I hated his silence. I missed his attention
