Chapter 13 - Unasked comfort

Xavier didn't know what to say. He was speechless and couldn't find any word to express what he was feeling. He was dumbfounded seeing a smiling Valentina in front of him. She was wearing a beautiful peach color knee length dress with long sleeves and a high neck. Her waist length hair was open and went over her shoulder in a wavy way. Few of her hair strands fell on her face that made Xavier crave to put them behind her ear. 

Valentina stood there with a wide grin on her face as she expected him to thank her for such delicious food and a hot cup of latte. But what she received was unexpected. Her eyes flew open when she felt a grip on her forearm and was pushed against the table. Her waist hit the table edge making her yelp in pain. 

"Aah!!" 

She looked up and swallowed a lump of saliva when she saw his raging eyes, 

"What the hell are you doing here?"
