Chapter 36 - Elevator

Xavier couldn't muster up the courage to go inside their suite. He felt like a teenage boy who was going to see his crush for the first time. After the revelation, Xavier felt more protective of Valentina. The thought of her being in danger because of her father didn't leave his mind for a second. A faint smile came upon his lips thinking of their first meet. No, not at the marriage altar. The very first time when two insecure people met each other just to feel like two normal people.
