Lyanna Stuart
Wrath, Pride, Sloth, Greed, Envy, Gluttony and Lust. Each major demon is assigned to one and their descedants will carry the line of the pure and powerful.
I head back to the library and tried to read as many reference there is to demons.
The librarian even gave me the look as he clicks his tongue in disappointment, he remarked as I carried the book on my way back, "Your generation is hopeless."
I ignored him. There are far more things to know and sometimes, I envy everyone- not knowing a world where creatures and mythologies exists. If I had forgotten about it completely, I wouldn't be so miserable... but who am I kidding?
I won't even let myself forget.
While reading about it, I remembered the demons back in Dr. Marle's office, considering that they didn't have the powers described here in the book- it probably
Tate GlassglowI went back to the other world- one fo the best things about being a demon is that we are capable of entering and leaving both worlds as we please. Whether you deny it or not, demons exists where evil thoughts manifest us and to be fair, that is in fact everywhere. But we are- to some extent still bound by laws and limitations. All we demons can do is to offer humans a choice, whether they are desperate enough to sell their souls and angels cannot interfere with our business because as their god proclaimed: "Humans are gifted with free will and must act according to their own choices."Terrible fate but at least they'll have no one to blame but themselves but the funny thing is... humans love to blame everything on us.Let me remind you humans, we are nothing but a manifestation of your own evilness inside so cut the pity party, humans chose this... just as Lyann
Arthur LangdonJD had to help me get back to the hideout to safely hide the fact that I'm alive. The whole nation is put on edge as the dragon clan's eldest died- I am indeed the most powerful and the one the prophecy said so.But knowing my death is what's putting the war on hold- the dragons are mourning as the other creatures are prepping to take back the title of strongest.JD protested, "What the hell were you thinking? If anyone else saw you-""But no one did.""IF they did!" JD continued with a sharp tone, "You're not even strong enough to take care of yourself, if the creatures found out that your death is a lie, they'd challenge our clan and we will be obliterated so don't go wandering off and worrying about someone else when you don't even have the strength to protect yourself.""That demon- he's Satan's
Lyanna StuartBeing with Tate feels secure, warm and muted. My world begins to look a lot like in earth tones. It's not the most striking colors but it gives me peace. Tate became the one grounding me back when things get tough. Arthur was dead and Tte told me even he couldn't bring him back. There was no other way but to move forward without the hope of seeing Arthur again.Sure it's slow but it's progress and everyday, I start to be a little more okay and everything is okay. I just hope it stays that way. I lived in fear that whenever happy is happening to me right now, a great deal of pain is ahead. It may sound gloomy but so far, that's how life was for me.Soon after, my thoughts we cut off as Tate sneaks in from my window. I chuckled after seeing him with some tree branches hanging loosely on his black hair. I took i
Lyanna StuartI was surprised to see them and without a warning, they had intended to kill me on sight and if it wasn't for Tate, I would have already been dead. They talked to each other in some latin language of some sort but more ancient that I couldn't understand it even if I tried. It didn't even sound familiar but it scared me but then, Tate looked at me with that face and somehow I knew.That... was the same face Arthur made before he left me. I felt a sharp sting in my heart. Was it happening again? Will he leave just like Arthur did? Slowly, I could feel my ground crumbling before my feet and there was nothing to do but fall once again. As soon as the other demons left, I immediately ran towards Tate and tended his wounds. I didn't know demons could bleed and that their blood is strikingly similar to ours. I said as I held onto his hand, "Are you okay? This seems deep. I'll
Arthur LangdonI won't lie. There have been days that I would find myself walking towards Lyanna- I kept saying to myself: "Just one more time.", "A quick glance and I'll go." but I know I'll never be satisfied with just that and so in each time, I stop myself.I have this reality check that we can't really be together.Besides, Tate is half human, his chances of being with Lyanna are better than my odds.Days have gone by- weeks even... I could barely keep up with the dates but all I know is that every other race is awaiting our father's stepping down as the strongest. Without a pure heir, everyone knows dragons are not much threat and it's the end of our legacy.JD comes back inside the hideout, frustrated and tired as he slumps to the couch after grabbing a beer or so.I asked, "How was it? Wh
Lyanna StuartI don't know what made me do it. I usually don't but he was... captivating. Those broad shoulders and and white old-fashioned shirt with open buttons seem oddly familiar to me. He looked like someone who doesn't belong in here.My friends joked around, "Yo, where's the cosplay convention at, knight in shining armor?""Come on, Lyanna, let's leave the weird guy." The girls in our group nudged my shoulder pulling me away but as I walked past him, I stopped and stare. I let my hands fell from my friends' and I stood there.I looked back at him. I felt lost in his marvel. It must have been that stand out silver hair of his or that striking set of violet eyes that seemed sad and lost that got me. Yeah, it must have been that but for some reason, I grabbed my camera- one that I had just gotten out of my old things for our photography s
Tate GlassglowAs soon Lyanna's friends from our school left, I glanced around to check whether Arthur was still around. I sighed out of relief as I no longer sense his presence. Lyanna is still checking out antique ornaments from the town's fair. She is smiling so brightly and all it took was a simple handmade keychain.Lyanna walks toward me giving me the keychain she got. It was a cute black demon crochet which made me snicker. Lyanna smiled at me saying, "Look, it's you Tate."I smirk patting her head gently, "It's me."A couple passed us by with the girl's linked on her boyfriend's arm and cozy. I saw Lyanna's eyes glued to the two so I smirked, "Why? Should we do that too?"Lyanna embarrasedly looked away and said with his cheeks flustered, "N-no. What are you talking about? We just started dating and..
Tate GlassglowI immediately lost my cool and pushed Mortem to the wall eventually breaking it, I glared, "You had one job and that was to watch over Clarisse-""And we did!" Mortem fought back pushing me away and dusting off his suit, he continued, "We watched their house but we're demons Tate, we can't afford to stay close to humans for a long period of time without wanting to steal their soul. In those lapses of time, I think... Skye's meeting Clarisse.""You think?!"Mortem sighed as he pulled out Skye's ring finger from his pocket covered with cloth, "We know. One of the demons actually managed to fight her but Clarisse stood in the way. Skye's got Clarisse under her control, she's manipulating her and we... couldn't do anything without hurting Clarisse in the process too.""I'm going after Skye-" I said but Be
