Chapter Forty Six: Mess

I had no idea what Lyanna was thinking but she suddenly called out Skye's name so I had no choice but to transform into my original demon form to try and protect her. I must be crazy for doing this! How the hell am I supposed to get that contract now? No human would dare to sign a contract if they knew they were actually selling it to a demon.
That's just how it works and now it's all a mess.
Skye cracked her neck and stretched her legs, she is provoking me- as if a goblin ever scared a demon. She asked me intentionally to catch me off guard, "Oh ho, you care to much about a feeble human that you'd sacrifice being seen in your original demon form just to protect her? How low you've stoop down, Tate."
