Roselle stared at Nancy for a while, also taking a sip from the cup of coffee before she said something.

"So, why did you call me for this meetup?. In case you don't know, I was just some hours away from quitting to being your Manager". "I don't really understand why you call for this, including meeting in a place like this. This isn't you at all". Roselle added with furrowed brows.

She was already suspecting that Nancy was up to something no good.

"Silly…. As long as you've not yet ditched me you're still my manager. And, em…. Actually".

"What?". Roselle asked, taking another sip of her coffee before placing it back on the table.

"I'm really sorry about how I treated you lately". Roselle almost choked instantly as soon as she heard the words that came out from Nancy's mouth!.
