CHAPTER SIXTY FOUR

When the creature was gone, Trisha quickly dashed to where Wilkes was but on her arrival, she noticed that he was as good as though he'd never been hurt. He, Wilkes, saw the look of surprise in her eyes and grinned as he rested the back of his head against a tree, catching his breath.

“Sometimes I forget it's nearly impossible for you to be hurt for a long time,” she said as she helped him up to his feet.

“Trust me when I say that I forget, too.” Wilkes eyes shifted to the green world around him but landed on each of the three contestants who were separated from each other by a few metres. “I wonder why Harold and Penelope aren't awake already.”

They both ran over to where Harold was and they realized that the damage done to him was far more than they'd imagined. More blood gushed out of the upper part of his right temple with a churning noise and his neck was visibly contorted.
