CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY EIGHT

It was the end of a session and although Harold and Wilkes especially had been to a rough start, things got a lot better after the contest and as they stood in their room, getting ready to go home for the holiday, for the first time since they had gotten to the school, they felt and behaved like other students.

“Who is coming to take you home?” Harold asked Wilkes as he eyes lazily landed on the messy heap of cloth that were in his bag. There was no way he was going to take his time rearranging them. No, that was too much stress.

“I'm not very sure,” Wilkes answered as his eyes scanned the room for any of his belongings he might have missed. The room was pretty empty compared to how it had been two hours ago.
