Prophecy

The branch fell on my body, causing my transformation to disappear. I remained in my human form, bruised and battered. Breathing was difficult as the trunk crushed me. She smiled; her fur covered in blood.

“You do not seem very smart” she said and laughed. “You fell into a very simple trap.”

-Are you going to kill me? Why don't you break up with me quickly...” I began to say, annoyed that she was making fun of me.
