Enzo's POV

I felt like my skin was being pricked by a thousand little needles as I paced back and forth in restlessness, kicking a few dead rogues that blocked my path.

After Nalia had come to tell us about the whereabouts of Gia while badly wounded, I felt all sorts of emotions. I knew Nalia was not lying at all as I had absolute faith and trust in her so there was no doubting nor denying.

I was utterly terrified. Terrified that I had lost my baby sis yet again. That my world had been snatched from me once more and I couldn't do a shit about it.

I remembered running almost collapsing on the floor in a less than graceful heap and I would have if Xavier wasn't quick to catch me.

I was in a haze as I was led over to a chair to sit down with my whole world spinning.

“Are you alright, Alpha Enzo?” Nalia's soft voice cut through the chaos happening inside my mind and I raised my head as my eyes remained locked on hers. I could see the concern and worry in her amber eyes.
