Nalia's PAST POV

“What do you mean by us?” He asked and my stomach did a flip as my heart dropped.

What does he mean by that? Do I have to be more explicit about that?

“I don't want to pressure you or anything Alpha but I thought that after that night, our relationship…”

He suddenly cut in, his eyes ice cold, a look I had never seen before. “Nalia, there is no us.”

My lips parted at the brutality of his words as a sharp knife pierced directly into my heart.

“I understand that you might be worried about what happened that night getting out and you need stability from me, but that is something I cannot provide. Besides, I ensured that no one found out so it won't affect you at all or your future partner. Besides, you're like a sister to me and I cannot imagine us being involved in a serious relationship especially when it happened just because we slept together.”
