I was wrong when I thought he would carry me back to the Brothel. He took me back to the castle instead through the wide open gates and we didn’t talk to each other the whole way.

Striker looked conflicted about something. I didn’t need to ask what he was thinking. I knew it already.

He didn’t want to kill me right now because it would be too troublesome for him, but when this year ended, he wouldn’t let me leave with his secret. I would have to think of an escape then, but right now, I should only think about the present and I should try my best to not infuriate him any longer.

I liked my head too much to let it rot in a basket so soon.

After he put me on the bed in his room, he left to do God knows what. Amanah came running to his room, her eyes screaming worry.

“ I even gave you the potion, yet you got caught. ” She scolded like a mother.

“ I know right? I am such an idiot. ” I sighed, dropping on my back.

I know they said that male Lycans can’t sense the mate bond only the females. Were any of them ever taught what signs to look/feel for to let them know if someone is their mate? Clearly they’re fated mates! If his Lycan gets excited around her shouldn’t that raise a “HELLO LOOK” flag .........
