Avalor's POV

Why do I think something is wrong with my woman? I frowned.

"My king, is everything okay?" I nodded but still felt uneasy.

I ignored the way I felt and continued with my discussion with the councils.

I felt a sharp pen in my chest and sniffed a bad aura.

"Excuse me, my elders. Please, I need to go check up on something. I will be back to us in a jiffy. I rushed out of the throne room and rushed to my chambers.

The bad aura suffocated my nose as I came closer to my room.

"Leave me alone. Avalor! Avalor!" Hilda's voice echoed.

"Noooooooo!" I pushed the door open and found a woman who pressed a pillow on Hilda's face.

I changed immediately into my beast form and jumped on the woman. Hilda fell on the bed, and I snapped; she was unconscious. It got me more enraged.

I grabbed the woman, removing all she had on, and to my surprise, this woman was Alex.

"How the hell did you get into the palace? How did you creep in?

I began to hit his head against the wall. His blood splattered
