Kieran's POV

My mind was a whirlwind of thoughts after I watched Nyx being taken away. I berated myself, thinking if only I had been there just a little earlier, that would have been avoided and Nyx would not have been taken away.

My pack had been supportive, assuring me they would get their Luna back. But the question that continues to ring in my mind is why anyone would want to kidnap Nyx. I knew this was an open challenge to me. Despite how much I tried to restrain myself from going berserk, I knew some packs would never learn. The Diwood's pack is one of those packs.

And I'm determined to make them pay for daring to make them pay—to make them suffer the consequences of daring to take my woman.

Blue and Matilda were now back on their feet, I could still see guilt still spread across their faces. They didn't need to say it, but I know inside me they seem to blaming themselves for Nyx being kidnapped on their watch.

    Nyx's POV Kieran crept out after I had slept off for the second time that morning. The sex was insanely good, and I was beginning to lose my mind over it. I woke up, unable to stand properly.
