Nyx's POV

Blue had told me about Nicholas’ dilemma , and Kieran's struggle with the happenings around when she came to give me the pancakes he had made.

“So, does he still have to kiss when he's having that much trouble?” I winked at her, teasing her.

“You speak like Alpha Kieran could be going unconscious, and he still wouldn't kiss you,” Blue said, and I was short of words, so I just shrugged instead.

“Why hasn't he claimed you yet then?” I asked.

“I don't think I'm ready.” Blue shrugged.

“So, you're the one stopping this thing?” I asked. “I thought he was the one having cold feet about everything.”
