ログインCHAPTER TWO
Hermosa POV I followed Cammy toward the VIP section, where most elite Alphas were allowed to stay and have sex with any stripper of their choice. I kept wondering what my best friend was doing here. She never sold her body for a couple of extra bucks—that was the unspoken rule we had. I snooped around, pretending to look for a particular room while my eyes trailed her every step. Suddenly, she stopped in the middle of a hallway and opened a door. One thing about the VIP section was that each room was soundproof, making it hard to eavesdrop. Luckily for me, the hallway was empty. There was no one to stop me or ask what I was doing—especially since the room Cammy entered was further down the hall, and I was still on my stripping clothes. So, I bent down, staring through the keyhole. There was light in the room, so I could see clearly. Cammy looked tense, her hands crossed in front of her as she knelt on the golden fur rug, still in her raunchy panties and bra. Her lips moved silently. I leaned closer to hear what was happening inside. “Tell me what I did wrong?” a familiar male voice boomed in the room, his figure hidden from view. “Nothing…” Cammy’s eyes met the rug in obedience, unwilling to look up. “I protected you and Hermosa,” his voice cracked. “Kept the both of you in the club for your damn good.” “Why did you do it?” His voice dropped to a whisper. “I didn’t do anything.” Fear tightened her tone. “Spread your legs, Cammy,” he commanded. “I can’t keep f*cking you…” She bit her lip. “I’ve paid back everything I owe.” He laughed low and evil. “I say when to stop f*cking you.” “Our debt’s been paid,” she stammered, her hands picking invisible dirt from her fingers. I couldn’t get in, neither could I see the stranger whose voice seemed familiar. “If I give orders, you obey, Cammy,” his tone grew dangerous. “Like the snitch you are.” Her eyes widened. Fear danced in her pupils, and I could only imagine what she had gotten herself into. “Last time, Cammy,” he drawled, his shadow illuminating in the light. “Stand up and spread those legs.” “How did you know?” she asked quickly, fear lacing her tone. Her back faced him, legs apart—like she had done this before. “I warned you, didn’t I?” His hand spanked her ass, and she screamed in pain. My heart caught in my throat as I watched everything unfold. I had to help my best friend before something terrible happened. My phone wasn’t with me—it was in the changing room. If I could get there and call Rapheal, he would know what to do. “Remove your damn clothes!” the voice ordered. Cammy’s trembling hands pushed down her panties in fear. A male figure came into full view. I gasped, taking in small bouts of air. It was none other than my mate—Rapheal. My world spun as his image registered in my head. His hands squeezed her ass as he bent her over, removing his trousers. I couldn’t believe it not in a thousand years. Rapheal, my forever, the man who promised to stand by and protect me, was f*cking my best friend. “Please stop this, Rapheal,” Cammy’s voice broke in a plea. “Why?” he growled. “You used to love it when I squeezed your ass this hard.” I swallowed hard again. My best friend had been sleeping with my mate all along? No wonder every time I mentioned him, she got uncomfortable and withdrawn. Now I knew why. “I had no choice,” she cried, her frail voice cracking. “You know it!” “Shut up!” He squeezed her jaw, pulling down his underwear. “You betrayed me, and I’m here to collect the favor.” “I… I didn’t ” she stuttered, but he cut her off. “Ssshhh.” He placed a hand over her lips, bending her across the table with a wicked grin. “I want to teach you a lesson.” Without warning, he slammed his cock inside her. She groaned in pain, bending backward, holding the wall for support. Each thrust was rough against her body as he panted and cursed. I held my breath. This felt unreal, like waking up to a nightmare. This couldn’t be my Rapheal the man who claimed to love me. Her whimpering only seemed to drive him harder. He rode her like an animal, not caring if she was ready or not. When he was done, he tossed her aside, panting heavily. I wanted to drive a knife into his chest, to make him feel the pain he had given us both. This wasn’t love. It was abuse in its purest form. “Let her go!” I banged on the door with every ounce of strength I had left. My emotions wailed inside me, but I kept going, tears streaming down my face. Reality hit me hard—I couldn’t even save her. I bit my lip in frustration. Then I heard Cammy’s voice. “I will tell Hermosa everything,” she sobbed, putting on her panties. “You’ll do no such thing,” he warned, eyes bulging with anger. “Yes, I will!” she said defiantly. “No, you won’t!” He yanked her by the hair, eyes blazing as he spoke menacingly. “If I so much as hear a whimper from you…” his fingers grazed her jawline, “…you won’t live long enough.” “I should’ve told her when I had the chance,” she spat in his face. I bit my fingers, terrified I would scream. “You whore!” Rapheal slapped Cammy hard across the face. Her head hit the wall with such force that blood pooled everywhere. I watched everything unfold, my knees weak. I pressed my trembling hands to my lips. I couldn’t recognize the man I loved. This was too much for me. He grabbed a hand towel from the wardrobe, cleaning himself as though he’d been contaminated, while Cammy lay motionless on the floor. He had just killed my best friend—like it was nothing. He didn’t even flinch. “Serves you right,” he muttered, throwing the towel onto her body as he straightened his clothes and hair. Her blood soaked the floor, her hair and clothes drenched. I stumbled backward in shock, her battered body haunting my every breath.Hermosa "Then prepare to be hunted." "Runnnnn!" I scream as we scamper out of the forest, my hands firmly holding my best friends' hands, as the branches and thorns tear our skin. Both werewolves chase us down. I hear a loud scream. Eleanor is clutching her legs, with blood dripping. I try to help her. Too late. I had let my guard down. Both Cammy and Eleanor are pinned down by both werewolves, and bloodlust smells in the air. "Stop." "Stop!" I scream, but they aren't listening. Cammy's clothes are already turned to bits. Eleanor looks like her magic is failing her. "Pick the knife, or we all die." "No." "No." Tears stream down my eyes. One of the werewolves uses his teeth to bite my friend. I pick the knife, and without thinking, I strike blindly. The werewolf lays on the floor, fully transformed. It was Ragal. "I am sorry." I whisper. He holds my face, spitting blood. "It's okay. I was prepared for this. Kill me and let this plague be over." He is
Two months later Hermosa I stare at the empty dining table. The chirping of the birds tells me that I am far from civilization. I try to shift my leg forward, at least to relax a bit, until he brings food. I don't know how many days I am in here, because everywhere looks pretty dark, apart from the steady burning of the candle, which tells me where I am. Rapheal had kidnapped me from the Shadow Moon Pack. For days he had forced me to bathe with strange herbs. When I asked him why, he deliberately refused to answer. He takes me out for quiet walks, but in a blindfold, while he holds my hands. I can hear the steady chirping of the birds and the hooting of owls, and I conclude somehow we might be in the bush. Wildflowers stick close to my clothes. "I prepared your best meal. Pasta and steak." "It's not." I mutter underneath my breath, scared. I wonder if Ragal is looking for me. "I am sorry." I hear Rapheal say from the head of the table. "Sorry for what exactly?
Hermosa The tall, bushy trees and grass were everywhere. I remember running down here as soon as I heard news about Cammy.I had rushed down here, almost killing the doctors in charge when they told me the truth."Three bulky men were sent to murder the patient you kept here, but when they removed her from life support, she strangely woke up from a coma. She had this lost look on her face, that they concluded that it was the wrong person."The doctors told me.I had run down here with Morgan's news, but instead of a dead body, I had seen an innocent lady with no memories of what happened between her and the people that were sent. She had no memories from a year. Even what happened to her was wiped off. From that day onward, I had looked into Morgan and what I found almost killed me. But I decided to play the mournful and angry lover to Hermosa. To draw out Raphael. Now it's backfired.I ran through the empty halls, screaming down her name, but there was no response.I slam the doors
HermosaOur boot crunched them and I wonder why she was staying in a place that looks deserted. He points the torchlight to show us the way. There were no signs of a house or sign of life nearby.Everywhere was too quiet.I stop dead in my track. "This place is awfully quiet. Why did you take her there?"He doesn't respond. "It's the best place I could think of. This place looks strange for a patient in coma.""She needs rest and I thought it's the best place for her to find one."My body kicks with joy at what he had said. Cammy was finally awake and I wonder why he never told me.I stare down at the tomb's headstone. Cammy Beckett. Survived by none. 2000-2026.A fresh bouquet of flowers on her tombstone. I laugh out loud, staring at Ragal who kept his gaze down."Tell me, what is this? We buried her remains here. She died at the hospital.""No. No, no. What is this?""Her grave," he adds."If you don't take me to my friend, I warn you. I promise this will be the last time you ever s
After the meal, he hadn't talked to me throughout the trip downstairs or in the car. I thought he was still mad at me for packing my bags. I made a mental note to tell him about his Beta, Morgan, and how he had on many occasions threatened to kill my best friend if I hadn't given my blood in exchange. The drive on the road was really quiet, and his hands gripped the steering wheel tightly. He didn't even turn to look at me. It was almost as if I wasn't there. The silence in the car was suffocating, but even I could do it. I stuck my face outside the window. "Stop." He pushed me back inside, rolling up the windows. "I just need fresh air." "The last time you did that, elite werewolves attacked us." "You don't have to remind me of that." I folded my arms inside the car stubbornly. "Good." He frowned slightly. "Let's focus on getting to Cammy in one piece." --- *Ragal* I had prepared a meal to calm her nerves. I don't know if it did that. I saw her talking to Morga
Hermosa "No blood." I say confidently. He pulled me close enough to smell his scent. "You have grown… balls." "I can say that about you, coming in broad daylight asking for my blood." Whatever I said irked him. I could see his nostrils flaring. Then he gripped my arm tightly. "Amazing, Hermosa. So damn good." "What happened to crawling spaces?" I spat, sure that I was getting to him. A flash of anger in his eyes told me I had hit a sensitive spot. "I respect the king a lot, but not you." I rolled my eyes at him. "Coward." "Don't drag my buttons, lil Omega." I smiled, pushing his hands away. "No. Cammy. No blood." He looked around before responding. "I hate you… Omega, but then I still need you." My heart thudded between my chest. Of course, they all needed me hale and hearty. I was a living, breathing cure. My blood was the key to everything. "I will get you to Cammy tomorrow morning." He grinned. "Don't be late." I added. "Of course not. He doesn't like to
Raphael POVI left the room, my head hung in shame, my heart heavy with emotions I can't fully name. I walked through the hallway, patients lurking through the corridors, scanning for doctors. Each one of them had the symptoms of the plague—dark pupils and burnt skin. Their last days were near, yet
Hermosa Pov The door had a window. I stretched my neck to get a good view. I could barely see who was coming or going unless they were close to the door.A patient with wrapped bandages on his head collapsed at my door, breathing heavily. He lifted his head up slowly.“The cure…”He pointed direct
Hermosa Pov He leaned on the car for balance, lips slightly cracked from the fever that had ridden his body. I don't like it when you stare. He pointed at me weakly it's rude of you.His hands barely able to hold on to the car for much long. I rushed forward using my body as extra balance to plac
Ragal pov"They were all after her?" The words my Beta spoke pondered heavily in my mind as the furious banging on the door continued. He had hung up the phone as soon as the message was passed. I dropped the phone into my pocket to find Hermosa’s face drained of color; she was scared.Who wouldn'
