FALSE HOPE

I knitted my forehead in confusion. "How did you know about it?"

"There's no need to explain, Sophia! I know that you still can't accept your stepfather for your mom and you'd rather walk alone than ride in his car. But, I am giving you another option and I will make sure that Olivia or other gossip mongers would never find out about this!"

Ace is right about it, I have never wanted my stepfather to drive me home. He's not even a part of my life to begin with so I took the risk of letting Ace drive me home.

"Okay fine, but I wanted you to park in a secluded area. Many eyes surround us so we need to be very careful!"

"What time is your out from work?"

"7:00 p.m.!"

"Okay, I promise to come there earlier and text me if you need anything!"

I hang up my phone and smiled alone. I know that this is the best chance for me and Ace to talk privately.

I went inside and smiled at Alpha Steven.

"It seems like you received some good news?" Alpha Steven asked the moment
