Omega's Revenge: Return With His Heir

"Stupid girl! Who do you think you are, coming to me like this? Are you out of your mind?"

Catrina could do nothing but give in to his power when Alpha Carlo roughly dragged her away from the hall where the party was held and brought her to a narrow, shadowed space by the stairs.

She was able to see the danger in his look, the way his jaw was clenched, the redness in his eyes, and the intensity of his glare, all of which were evidence of how angry he was at her at this very moment.

Catrina, though, steeled herself so that she wouldn't appear to be trembling in his presence.

"Did you intentionally come here to embarrass me in front of my entire family and pack members, Omega?" He roared at her.

She had, in fact, made up her mind to visit him tonight; however, she had no idea that the Blackthorn Pack was throwing a lavish party in the Alpha's mansion to commemorate the new Alpha king's elevation to the position of Alpha.

Catrina had no idea that she would show up in front of his family and his entire pack.

He is Carlo Donovan, the still-young but powerful and dangerous new Alpha. His voice, his face, his body—everything was the same; Catrina still remembered very well that he was the man who shared her bed that night.

Seeing her just staring at him and not giving any reaction, Carlo gripped the young woman's face by the jaw. His anger was completely reignited as soon as he saw her standing among the guests in the hall tonight.

With the same shabby dress and her beautiful face, she would always serve as a reminder of one of his most regrettable mistakes: his carelessness in hooking up with a lowly Omega that night.

And what struck him the most was the fact that she came with the news that she was pregnant!

Damn it. He could not let this happen!

"You're lying to me. That baby in your womb is not mine." With all his emphasis on every word, he whispered in the Omega's ear. "So it's pointless if you want to hold me accountable."

Catrina shook her head, her face throb with pain from the grip of his fingers on her cheek.

Her eyes welled up with tears. "I would never dare to make up a lie. This baby is truly yours, Alpha, I haven't had a period s-since what you did to me that night. I didn't lie."

"Who can say that you have not slept with any other man besides me? That's what you do for a living. You are an Omega, Catrina; you satisfy any man's desires as you did to me that night."

Even though he was feeling conflicted and not completely certain when he said it, Carlo couldn't let himself trust this little Omega. 

If his family discovered that he had gotten an Omega from a small pack pregnant, they would immediately strip him of his Alpha title.

Moreover, if this omega was telling the truth that she was carrying the baby of the Donovan family, Carlo would inevitably have to take responsibility.

"How can you say that?! I've never slept with another man; you jerk-"

The slap landed hard and hot on her cheek, leaving Catrina dumbfounded by the stinging pain that followed.

"We cannot be together. I cannot marry you and accept whoever's baby is in your womb."

"This is your baby!"

After what seemed like an eternity of staring into

"How much money do you need to shut up and leave as far as you can?"

"I don't need your money! I just need some accountability from you; can't you give it to me?" Catrina asked with her heart shattered into a million pieces.

She never thought that this man would turn out to be this heartless and cold towards her. Because from the moment they met and she fell in love with him, she thought that he had the same feelings for her. 

That night, he was as soft and gentle as a feather when he laid a kiss of sweetness on her lips and reassured her that she had nothing to worry about.

She was in deep love with the Alpha until she turned a blind eye to the gulf between them.

Their love was forbidden even if she was not pregnant with his baby because he was the Alpha king and she was just a low-ranking werewolf, an omega from a small pack with zero influence. 

Even if they had shared a bed and the slightest of feelings, they should just end it here.

"Leave," Carlo said, frustrated. "As far as you can. Raise the baby if you want. Just don't come back. Don't show your face to me again. Never." He didn't have the heart to tell her to end her pregnancy or have his men kill her. "The money-"

"I don't need your money." Catrina insisted on cutting him off. With her heart aching, she continued, "Alright, Alpha. I will leave as far as I can

"Don't you dare-"

But she was out of his grasp, leaving Carlo behind.

Just a few steps away from him, Catrina stopped as she saw someone arrive from the opposite direction.

Catrina took a few steps back from the elegant woman while Carlo froze in his place. His mother, Mathilda, stood a few steps away from them, she must have heard at least some of his conversation with this Omega. 

Mathilda glanced at her before turning to him. "Carlo, who is this woman?
