Gwen’s POV

I finally wrenched myself free from Alpha Blake's grasp. My patience was finally boiling over. "You know what, Alpha Blake? I really don't care whether you believe me or not. But you need to keep a closer eye on the friend you believe so much."

Alpha Blake's eyes widened at my harsh tone. "Gwen, it's not that I don't trust you—"

"Isn't it?" I cut him off, shaking as I spoke. "You're more willing to believe that I'm wrong or I'm seeing things than to consider that Nora might not be who she says she is."

Alpha Blake sighed, running a hand through his hair. "It's not about believing or not believing. It is about needing proof before I can act. If you accuse Nora of this crap without evidence, it could bring chaos within the pack. You really need to be sure."
