Hi there everyone!
I hope you're having a nice weekend ahead of you. I've been writing this story and I know to myself that there are a lot of typographical errors, as well as grammatical errors, and inconsistencies. I know you're all a better good judge, and I am apologizing in advance for all those errors. But I am trying my best to give out smooth, better and at the same time exciting chapters each time I upload. Also, just a disclaimer that all the settings, characters used, and time were all mainly fictional. If you're reading some of the settings I included in my story was realistic, I did that on purpose. But most of the time, all of the names of places I've written were purely fictional.

Justine stepped away from the shore and started strolling down the river's breadth. I kept a tight eye on him, as I usually seemed to be doing. Ricky groaned behind me while he scooped up his baggage and started following. We'll never learn and tell if she indeed made the correct choice, but I'm grateful Diana was still with us, even though our lives were at risk at the time. Dr. Melendez escorted us through a labyrinth of corridors that bore witness to the atrocities that had occurred outdoors. The once-beige-colored brickwork had been painted crimson in numerous places, and groups of insects swarmed around some of the complete darkness, dispersing as we managed to pass but immediately having to return to their feast. Dr. Melendez ignored them and provided no comments nor any information on the several rooms we passed in the halls. We accompanied him out the doorway and down the corridor. Justine was assisting Diana in walking, while Peter was assisting Ricky in a little way since he had also wounded himself when attempting to rescue Diana. They both seemed to be in horrible form, particularly Diana's feet, which were patched up and bleeding from all the wounds she had. She wanted a comfortable bed to sleep off the happenings of the day, and she hoped that tomorrow would be better for both of them. For the remaining of us, as well.We exited the laboratory section of the structure and entered the residential quarters. It's unusual to watch the area to get beyond chilly and unapproachable to warmer and inviting, but I'm delighted to see it. These corridors were well lit, and the air was much warmer. There's still blood all over the place, and even though they've been cleaned white, I could still see the decomposed body laying there.
