At the government-owned specialist hospital that Mr. Roberts was transferred to, Helen's four older brothers, Paul, Zion, Caleb, and Patrick, waited in the room.

Paul Roberts was a 37-year-old man and the oldest amongst them, while Zion was a 35-year-old man, Caleb was a 33-year-old man, and Patrick, who was 31, was older than Helen. They were in the hospital room with their father's lawyer, Mr. Lucas Samson.

"Barrister Samson, we need to prepare my father's will in case he is going to die," Paul said ruthlessly, as he wanted to take over Roberts Pharmaceutical, but his father refused to give it to him, saying that he was reckless and he was not going to manage the company well.

Paul wished that he could strangle his father to death. However, he was not the only son, and he had three younger brothers who longed to take over the company. But the company had lost a huge fund, which they got to realize.

"Paul, how can you be asking for Dad's company? How do we pay the workers now that Dad lost 50 million from his account to those scammers? We have to get the money back and not fight for who will take over the company," Zion said, as he owned a fashion company, but his company had not been doing well. He hadn't thought that his father's pharmaceutical company was having up to 50 million dollars that was scammed. But now that he knew, he could not allow Paul to take over the company. But the company was already equivalent to nothing, as their father had already lost all the funding to a fake representative from Kingston's Pharmaceutical.

"How can the two of you be fighting for who will take over Dad's company? Dad is sick, and instead of us looking for a healer for him to tell us who scammed him and left him with a stroke, yet you two are wrestling for the CEO of a bankrupt company?" Caleb chimed in, as he was an actor and he was doing well on his own. His older brothers glared at him, as they all wore shorts and black trousers and had hurried from their places of work after their mother called them to tell them that their father couldn't speak again.

Rosemary was in the room, crying as she wore a blue dress and a pair of black shoes. She was seated on a chair in the hospital room, not liking to see her sons quarreling now that they were fighting for who would take the company.

"I am Dad's first son, and it's my right to take over his company," Paul said, his voice firm and cutting through the tension.

"You all should keep shut and calm down. If you are not here to talk about your father's recovery but his property that you went to invite his lawyer, Barrister Lucas Samson, then you three should leave!" Rosemary yelled, her body trembling as she hadn't eaten since morning.

"Mom!" Patrick rushed over to meet his mother and held her trembling body, and she calmed and coughed.

"Get out, the three of you! You all added to your father's illness and caused him headaches. Since you all have interest in the company, then why not find a healer to cure him? He is getting worse, and we have hundreds of workers to pay at the company! Where do we get the money to pay them from? Get out!" Rosemary yelled again, coughing violently, and her three older sons calmed and walked towards the door.

"Fine, Mom. We will leave and look for a healer for Dad. If the hospital cannot cure him, then we will have to try native means," Paul said, even though he didn't want to try anything on his father. He was waiting for the old man to die to take over everything, since he believed that it was his birthright.

Rosemary scowled and said, "Let me burst your bubble and make it clear to you. Your father didn't leave the pharmacy company to any of you four because none of you is a pharmacist. If you had any interest in taking over Roberts Pharmaceutical, then you could have studied how to become a pharmacist. Instead, you went on pursuing your other dreams. The person your father left his pharmaceutical company to is Helen, and she is the one to inherit it."

"What!..." Paul and his brothers' eyes widened in shock, as they hadn't expected their father to will his company to Helen, their younger sister.

"Mom, how can Dad will his company to Helen? She will get married and forget that she is a member of this family?" Paul said, his voice chilling as blue veins popped out of his neck. He was wearing a red shirt and a pair of black shoes.

"Paul, you are so desperate, and your father believes that you will sell off his company and forget that it was his hard work. That's why he didn't trust you. You have to forget about inheriting that company, even if it were never to fall; it will not be yours," Rosemary said, her body trembling as she glared at her first son. He was so reckless with his spending, and he couldn't manage his own investment company.

After hearing what his mother said, Paul and Zion's expressions turned cold, and Paul yelled, "Since Dad prefers Helen to us, then I am out of here."

Paul left, and Zion muttered, "Mom, why will Dad do that? We invited Barrister Samson here to read out Dad's will. Why will he input Helen's name as his successor? Dad never believed in a woman furthering her education to the university, and now he left his pharmaceutical company to Helen!" Zion said, anger coursing through his veins as he couldn't believe his ears. So automatically, if Roberts Pharmaceutical didn't go bankrupt, does that mean that Helen was the one who would inherit the company?

"Yes. You heard me correctly. Even if Barrister Lucas Samson reads your father's will now that he is still alive, you guys ain't the successors because you know nothing about drugs. You will crumble the company or sell it off. So forget about the company and look for a doctor to treat your father!" Rosemary yelled, while Patrick held her.

"Mom, it's okay. You are going to get sick if you continue to shout like this," Patrick said, his voice laced with worry, and Rosemary told him, "Then tell your brothers to leave. They do not care about your father—only his wealth. They should leave my sight."

Rosemary started sobbing, and Patrick looked at Zion and Caleb for them to leave.

"Fine, Mom. Since you do not want us here, go ahead and contact Helen to look for a doctor for Dad, or since she is a pharmacist, let her come and cure him by herself. Why are you all searching for a doctor when your precious daughter can heal him? Huh! I am out of here, and no one should call me again except to attend Dad's funeral!" Zion spat as he walked out of the room. The nurses looked at him in shock, as they had hurried over to know what the commotion in the government-owned specialist hospital was all about.

The noises had even attracted the media's attention, and they were around to capture the news.

When Helen arrived at the bottom of the stairs, she walked into the living room and spotted her mother standing by the dining table and arranging the chairs."Good morning, Mom," Helen greeted her mother with a warm smile on her face. She was dragging her box along, and Rosemary smiled upon seeing her daughter's happy face. She knew it was the young man who had come to visit them that made Helen glow in the morning brightness.Rosemary stood in a milk-colored nightdress as she donned a pair of black slippers. Her husband was still upstairs in the room, sleeping."Morning, Helen. Are you leaving this early? It's just after 7 a.m.," Rosemary inquired with a smile as Helen walked up to the dining room to meet her.Helen left her box in the living room and walked up to join her mother in arranging the remaining dining chairs, as her mother had busied herself with cleaning the whole house."I know, Mom," Helen replied with a smile. "I want to be on campus on time to catch up with where I l

John was getting ready for his bath, even though it was late and midnight."That bìtch isn't worth my time. I can have anyone that I want.""Alright. I just thought you got annoyed. Though it was disrespectful for Tasha to say that about you, I didn't think you should take it to heart," Samuel replied with a smile."Really? What if you found out that Tasha liked you? Would you date her?" John queried as he pinned his gaze on Samuel's face.Samuel's expression darkened, and he replied, "No way. She is not my type.""Mm. The same thing you said about Helen, but you ended up chasing after her like a lovesick fool, forgetting that it was all a bet.""John," Samuel's expression darkened, and John laughed at last. "What did I lie? What man goes to a woman's house if not that he is in love with her?""I am not in love with Helen," Samuel retorted, and John smirked."We shall see about that." John exited the room to have his bath, while Samuel lay on his bed, annoyed.*Why does John think tha

Helen was stunned in her room when she heard Tasha mention that she wasn't the one who had given Samuel Kingston her house address."If Tasha isn't the one who gave Samuel my house address, then who did?" Helen pondered as she lay on her bed.She went online and searched through her friend list. She had many new friend requests, but she didn't waste her time adding anyone. Her profile was on private mode, and she didn't want pretentious friends. Only a handful of her relatives and family members were on her list, but since her father's company got sold, Helen noticed some of her relatives had unfollowed her.She sighed and added Samuel, as she needed him to explain where he got her home address.*Did he hire someone to monitor me?* Helen pondered as she nervously accepted Samuel's friend request. She clicked on the direct message and sent him a message:Helen: "Samuel, who gave you my home address? Did you hire someone to stalk me?"Helen felt uneasy about it. She couldn't imagine tha

"It's fine. You don't have to explain yourself. I won't be against it if you want to date John. He's a single guy, after all," Samuel pressed, clearly amused, but John was silent, observing Tasha's reaction. She had rejected him even before he had the gut to ask her out."I am not into John. He's not my type of guy," Tasha replied dismissively, wanting to get away. She could feel John's gaze burning behind her back, and she dared not look at him. Surprisingly, John didn't confront Tasha like she had thought. She assumed it was because Samuel was there and a few other students. John also respected Samuel a lot.Tasha knew that she would have a death wish to say that directly to John's face, so she didn't dare to look back at him."Oh, is that so?" Samuel inquired, clearly amused as he chuckled and drew nearer to Tasha, even as the night had fallen."So who is your type of guy?" he asked her, standing in front of her. "Because John is the hottest of them. And I don't know who is better

As Helen sat across from her mother in the dining room, having dinner after Samuel had left, her heart raced. She felt shy because she hadn't expected Samuel to visit."Helen, are you going to eat your food, or are you waiting for it to get cold?" Rosemary asked calmly, smiling at her daughter's flushed face. She had been planning to ask Helen about her private life and if she had a boyfriend.Though Rosemary knew she supported her husband willing his company to Helen before they lost it, she didn't want to put too much pressure on her daughter. After all, Helen was her only daughter and her lastborn child. But she was concerned that her daughter wasn't in any relationship.Rosemary had wondered if it was because Helen was chubby and the guys at a private university like Avalon's City University didn't spare her a glance. As a mother, Rosemary wanted her daughter to settle down so that she could be at peace with herself and the fact that her husband wasn't rich anymore. She didn't wan

"Wait, Helen, aren't you happy to see me?" Samuel asked as he turned to face Helen.Helen crossed her arms over her chest, standing by the gate entrance of her father's house, and replied, "I am not happy to see you. What do you want here? How do you know my father's address?"Helen watched as Samuel's eyes followed her body, from her chest down to her blue shorts, and up to her face again."You don't dress like this at the university. Why? Hiding your God-given gift?" he asked her with a smile, watching her face as her cheeks flushed."Samuel, you don't talk like this, either. Don't flirt with me. We are sworn enemies. So shoo away," Helen waved her arms for Samuel to leave, surprised that he had found her home address. She spotted the black car waiting to take him back."You should leave, Samuel. I don't want to see you," Helen repeated, knowing that her father had been defrauded by Samuel's father."I am not leaving," Samuel replied calmly. "I came to take you to the university. Di
